Serious lack of traffic... (PS3)

Hey, I'm in the UK and connected today without any problems.

 

Only thing thats bugging me is the serious lack of traffic and NPC's in general... Will more come as you progress through the game or will it always be this quiet?

Why do you care if there is lack of traffic/pedestrians? Does it effect you?

Well yes... It's like a ghost town. Lack of oncoming traffic to drive against in a getaway, lack of pedestrians to use as bullet shields whilst running from people/cops. Robbing a store and then come out to find a lack of getaway vehicles.

I am sure the OP is asking in comparison to the single player. Maybe he likes more immersion or just running over people.

 

To OP: I think you will find quite a few less things online as Rockstar has limited certain things such as this for performance reasons.

Thanks for that info. It definitely makes sense. Just a shame really, would've been nice to still have the same insanity on the roads in MP as you do SP. Online is still fun though, don't get me wrong.

Well you quite obviously can. I'd just prefer to be able to have the option of being unorganised.
