natsamson
You are right and wrong, yes the PC wont have these problems because they will be fixed, however if it was out now the issues would exist as the servers last night was running slow or whatever was wrong with them was affecting all consoles and all systems even the social club, so you are right and hugely wrong. LaDispute
PC Version is all but confirmed due to files that have leaked from the console versions containing folders pertaining to the PS4 Operating System and also PC files. You can tell that GTA 5 was almost certainly developed on PC alongside the console versions. The gameplay trailers etc look far better than the console versions do, ergo they were made on PC. The game looks better than the Gameplay trailers and they wern't run on a PC, obviously you haven't played the game because you would know this, a PC version arguement is pointless anyway because Next Gen will too have it and will basically be right on par. My guess that was an early beta of the game like always.

My guess that was an early beta of the game like always. Rockstars promotional screenshots are blatantly shot with a PC, with settings toned down a lot. They are set to look better than consoles could put out right now, but not at max. The screenshots in the manual that Rockstar made an app, are of a higher resolution than 720p, which consoles can not produce over other than a select few games (GTA V is NOT one of them). Then the screens in that manual are also of sightly better filtering and textures are slightly higher res. These are even less noticeable than the promo screens (Which are really easy to tell lol). Basically everything but video has been shown on PC, all the video though is done on PS3. The only one I don't think was done on PS3 was parts of the GTAO trailer, there are some parts that look better than the rest of the video. OP stop being a "PC master race" there is no such thing and we were given this title because of entitled people like yourself. You don't think console gamers don't know our version will be superior? You don't think they don't know we can run it at better settings and fps? They know these things, but you obviously are new to the PC scene if you think that these problems could have been avoided on PC. The only way for them to be avoided was for Rockstar to prepare better, but I don't think anyone could prepare for how many people where trying to log on to play. 1 billion dollars made, 60 bucks a game, sh*t..... millions upon millions of players all trying to play. Another reason I know you are either new to the PC scene or not in it at all and trying to tarnish PC gamers rep is, a lot of PC games have launches like this. On PC you have over 3 million people logged into steam every day, any game that is popular gets massive traffic. New games that are based off of online, tend to have a sh*tty release day or two. But again, if you actually were a PC gamer, you would know this. BS on the OP being a PC gamer Edited October 2, 2013 by DymeDef
Fizzlepop531
F u console pricks who bitch and moan about this game. This is not to normal console people. It will be normal soon enough. The next gen seems to be focused on Massive online gaming. I trust a company like Bungie to handle the load of people trying to access their servers in mass. But some other companies, I have my doubts.

xrk
You're pre-supposing it's coming out on PC. How's that PC version of RDR working out for you? RDR was developed by another Rockstar Branch which has never done a PC game. Rockstar North is the one in charge of GTAs and they are the ones who develop the PC version of their games. North didnt develop IV though, did they. PC Version should launch with no issues. With the all but 100 people trying to log on it should be fine. Khaos89
I can't wait for it to be released on the PC to see the difference with consoles. Plus there will be ENB and texture mods released which will make the game look even better, as well as anti-aliasing.
