Medical bills are way too high

This last hour i've been playing I keep losing money without spending it due to those high medical bills. If I die in a mission in will cost me $2000 per respawn, same for freemode and I think also for Deathmatches. I think the medical bills have gone up while i am levelling but don't know for sure.

 

My problem is, since most people don't like to join my missions, I have to do them alone. When these missions become harder I sometimes die once or maybe twice. If i am retrying a mission I sometimes lose $5000 while the mission only earns $2000.

 

I've been saving for a house but since I hit the $115.000 I fell back to $96.000 now. This is just so frustrating, trying to earn money but losing it instead...

 

Am I the only one frustrated by these bills? Feel like it almost forces people to buy the "credit cards" to buy something ingame.

 

Don't want to be punished for playing deathmatch or any other mission. These things should earn me money no matter what, not cost me money 50% of the time.

Yes of course I am dying to much, but missions get pretty hard if you get further, reached level 19 now and as I said, i have to solo them most of the time. I almost feel like not doing them because they cost me money most of the time except for when there is an easy one with a big reward, I replay it a few times to earn me some money,

 

It is just that I dont want to be punished for at least trying to do them. And in a Deathmatch you will die pretty easy.

Indeed, if I am replaying a mission that I failed, my ammo is gone too. If you do a quick restart there is no option to buy ammo either.

I feel the same... i don't like to let missions beat me, but the cost of retrying then perhaps dying is not worth trying again for.

Still, I don't like the idea you can never, at any point, f*ck around online. Last time I checked that was a pretty damn big part of gta, but now, I WILL lose money and there is NO WAY to stop that...? EH?

Although I am not sure about this, the lack of money might cause people to buy the "credit cards". I feel that if these cards weren't there earning money might have been easier. If earning money was a bit easier people wouldn't buy those cards and that is why they might have made it this way,

I mean damn, I hope Rockstar does further patches down the road, they most likely will since Online is their main focus, that get rid of these stupid bills, rules, and what not because it takes away from the fun of Online.

In my case veteran doesn't mean im the best or anything, I am not bad at playing GTA, but I just have been doing it for ages.

 

Forgot to mention I play everything on hard as well, Some rank 20 missions now are extremely hard doing it solo, even with others we fail occasionaly.

You can't invest in GTA Online, it tells you to go to GTA V to do that.

The reason you're dying so much sounds like you are trying to rush through all the online missions alone (already level 19 even with server issues). These were built for multiple people and made very difficult for a single player to complete. Try waiting until more people are online, then going into the missions with multiple people in which you'll die less.

I agree with that last part, I like having money online, but I'm one of those guys who strap c4 on my cars and go drive into a big crowd of peds or players and blow my self up, I don't wanna lose money just cause I'm having fun. Edited October 2, 2013 by XxGuapoBeanxX

R* will probably tweak the system in some way to help alleviate this. Maybe they'll make it so if someone with a bad rep kills you, you don't lose money (or lose less).

But you can't buy those cards, yet. They're 'currently unavailable'.

 

You get up to 9,000 from one mission when you're rank 5ish. It's not hard to make money at all. I have almost enough to buy the first apartment and I've just been messing around mostly. A few co-op missions, a few races, deathmatches and so on. It all adds up.
