Didnt take any time, took a min or so for waiting for players then a menu bar came up with nothing on it then froze, i guess cause UK are coming outa school n whatnot, wish rockstar could just get some more servers damnit

I've been playing for the past 4 hours. Did the toturial race on my own lol. Can't access jobs with other players though, so just running around for myself, doing bike races and rob stores. Just got my first repo job as well. Lvl 5 now. Taking a dinner break, hope I can get on later - if not, had a lot of fun :)

Yeah R* must have flipped a switch, online working for me now and it is just class heading around with crew members robbing stores escapaing cops. When people start getting apartments and big heists are introduced, it will be epic.

Finally started working long enough to do the first two missions but after the second mission's leaderboard it got stuck in the clouds.

Well yesterday I could only make a character and try to start the Lamar race but get kicked back to SP. Tried today, it loaded my character straight away in a server with crew members.

How have you done the race on your own?! i keep trying solo, invite only and the normal online but still cant load !!

Sigh I am at work and when I get off is when tons of other people get off around the united states so I just know I won't be able to get on I have hope but if there is still difficulties this morning and everything it can only get worse from here.

Ok got my character back but now I am stuck at the launching session before the race starts... All that progress I did gone.

I was on launching session for about 5 minutes. But it finally loaded. Did first race did the second drug mission. Third mission was last man standing then it froze up on me.

PS3 confirmed to work, won race. Second mission completed (hahahaha, didn't even know I was playing with a real other person). Now online. Got stuck in clouds for around 3-4 minutes. Went from start menu --> online --> go

:panic:

 

Portland, OR, USA.

 

f*ck. Now I have to go to work!

I been waiting on launching session for a little more than a half an hour. I even heard chatter of other people having fun. Still nothing.

Got on this morning (Montreal Canada) and while parts were glitchy (people/cars disappearing with weird camera angles during cinematics of the drug mission), after that it seemed to be a little better. Was only on for a short time though, will test it out more thoroughly tonight! :lol:

Day 2. Uploaded the new PS update. Game still freezes on black screen after I say Ok to the GTAV update. Still cant even get the online patch here in Nashville TN region.

I got in and did the first race. Not solo session just went to online and "go" After winning it they put you in another mission automatically but I wanted to check out the properties on my phone and then after a minute it set me back to the post race cut scene and I had a different car instead of the one i selected. Idk what happened there. Not worried about the glitches right now because I got class with work back to back til late tonight.

I got in but the trigger area for the first face is gone, i can't check my map, all i can do is 'Go to the race trigger' but it's not there, it's done this 4 times, I think I'm screwed haha

Are you in solo? that happened to me at first when I launched a solo session but after that I just launched regular online.

At first it was solo yeah, then I just clicked 'Go' on the other three attempts, I might try abit more then create a new character, see how it works out.

I'm stuck on "Waiting on other players on PS3" screen on GTA Online :/

 

Same here. I let it wait for about 15 real minutes just to see if it took a while, but nothing happens.
