Franklin Clinton Posted October 2, 2013 Share Posted October 2, 2013 (edited) So I've been playing for around 13 hours and its time for bed but though I would share some things about Online etc for anyone who is interested and still cant play. Online is fun but could get sick of it quick if you don't have a crew or any friends to roll with. No animals, Thought I seen some but I didn't (to much drinking). Police are easy to get away from. Police will chase you if they see you in a stolen car There is auto aim when on foot and it makes things very easy. Not sure if its the same for all servers. You can be kicked from a game with ease 1 vote is all it takes it seems. You can buy insurance and tracking for your cars. If you lose a car or it gets stolen or damage just call the insurance company. You can buy bombs and install them in cars either to be set off by remote or ignition. Textures seem a little worse not much though. Messages keep poping up asking to do missions, gets annoying. Most players seem to want to team up and enjoy the game and use team work not just shoot you and steal your sh*t. Can only rob stores at the moment no banks etc. Less peds and traffic sometimes at night there is no traffic at all. When you rob a store with someone whoever gets the money has the choice to split it. The more you rob the same store the more money you get each time... also get more stars Store owners can shoot you Noticed more gas stations. Can get hookers. You get rewards for been good. Great crew integration You will find yourself hitching rides with other player to do missions. lots of fun. you can sell cars and rob stores for money but its still hard to obtain those BIG stacks of cash. There are houses and garages all over the place to buy. They seem to cost a bit. You will find yourself robbing stores and selling cars over and over again to get money. Started to get over that quickly they need more ways to make money. Most of the missions don't work right now so couldn't make money that way but the ones that a did manage to play you make little money. Last of all you will need to put some work in to make that money. Just wanna know where the mass is that has started playing. New Zealand. Think I just got lucky though and got to do the first race then once that was done I could join whenever with out problems. Most of my online friends in NZ still get stuck on the first race. IMO this whole have to do a race before you can really play online was a stupid pointless idea because once you are past it everything seems fine. Good to try new things though I guess. How many stars did you have when you escaped the police force? 4 stars, all I do is drive up a hill to lose the cars then shoot at the copper a bit then it flys away. You can then hide out of sight of ground troops and you are good to go. At one point I was hiding in a bush with 3 stars and cops right next to me and they didn't pick me up. When you rob a shop if you do it quick enough and have a getaway car you can lose them within seconds literally run out the door get in the car drive up the road a bit and hide. Not to sure on all the rewards but I did get $1000 and a message saying it was for been good. Not sure how I got it but it was right after I got in a car with some randoms and we drove around for a while. So maybe interaction with other players without killing them. My choice for first car was the Bravado Gauntlet (like the ones you can use in the subtle option for the final score in sp). Sweet ass muscle car with plenty of get up and go. harry246 Posted October 2, 2013 Share Posted October 2, 2013 (edited) I played for around an hour and a half last night. Managed to earn around 11,000 which is in my bank. It's going to take months before u can buy everything u want to. Even cheap tyres for ur car are priced at 15,000ish. Still awesome though. I might have to buy a cash pack as I'm very impatient. Cool thing is that not everything is availible straight away. The car customisation is very limited and you gradually unlock more features as u progress up the ranks. This means people can't buy cash packs and have everything all at once, they still have to earn it. One annoying thing is I had 2 bounties put on my head for NO reason. However knowone really came after me...except one dude who quickly learnt not to bother me again. Haha. Levelling up the first few ranks is also easy. I now have $35k after killing two other players and being killed twice myself. I thought having money in the bank ment you can't lose it? other wise whats the point?
