Tips for beginners!

First of all this is my first post Thanx for having me! I've been one of the lucky ones who has gotten on. I got on at 4am and have been jammin since, with a nap. Some things I've noticed that will help early on.

 

Get in or form a crew asap - 10%xp bonus & People to play with

 

Avoid the freeze and people. - like the 1st mission my game froze twice on the mission after you get your car and have to go to cypress flats and do a Last Team Standing match, one time resulting in the deletion of my first 2nd character a hot a$$ female. When you reach this mission you game goes free roam. Walk in to trigger the free roam and the hit B/O to back out of the match and your will be in free roam if you'd like to walk back in I think it works just fine. Once done go back to single player then enter online and enter a friends or crew only session so you can get your barings and earn moneys, for now I mostly play like this..

 

I've hear people and IGN tell me they heard your first car is your car so make it a good one, this is partly true. You can steal any lower to upper mid class car and put a tracker in it and it will be your "home" car or whatever they call it. Its just the first one that you are tasked to do this for is free, the tracker 2,000 & insurance 11,500 are free, but you can also get it painted different tires paint the rims, I also got a spoiler and a hood FREE so check all options. My Personal recommendation would be GET A 4 DOOR CAR a fast one, I steal the car franklin drives and fix it but dont do anything else to it then I drive it around the nicer neighborhoods and find one of the nicer large sedans I currently have A ???? Felon, there is also another one that spawns handles a little different so give them all a drive. Once you have a nice fast 4 door car take it to the pay and spray and get the tracker and insurance and paint and what not in any order as long as you dont leave the garage. Its good to have a foor door car because you can transport more people in it. I see a lot of people including myself that wanted a fast car and got a 2 door but trust me 4 door more fun.

 

Quick Ammo/Vest reload - anytime not in mission or being chased by cops you can walk into a mission marker select host and fill up the ammo for all weapons you have and by the fighest vest (i believe its discounted depending on how much you need not too sure). Once you have what you need you can back out. I find this easier than driving to ammo nation most times.

 

Watch Cost of repairs and ammo - You can pick up plenty of ammo for the Pistol and uzi Playing tdm or other game types/try not to buyit in games unles you need it, likewise the vests fill you up half way which is more than you can buy early on so just aim for those and pick up guns you ammo will be full in no time. Also if your car is jacked up its repaird when you get out of missions. I also think if you pick the weapon up in a game type then go to Ammo Nation and purchase an upgrade for that gun it will stay in your inventory without you having to buy it. I think thats how I got the uzi but never keep the sawn off shotgun when quit out and come back. Missions/games also refill health.

 

Quick money grabs - take youre nice car and hit the stores its like 1000 to 3500 a score and its easy to lose the cops most of the time. I did just hit about 10 trying to finish them out in about 1hr or so and by the last one I got a 4 star rating for robbing the store. I dunno if thats time based or chevo based or what. Also you can periodically sell cars to pay and spray so go to the rich part of town and steal a non premium nice car and drive it to them and the sell option is right below the fix.

 

Dont get stuck on chaos - Do missions and game types and dont do the same thing for too long, the more you do the faster you will unlock different contacts and new things to buy.

how do you pick the first car in details? you gotta find and steal the car from the streets anywhere? no dealership menu or anything? is sultan a good choice? PLZ ANSWER!!!

Easiest way to make money (without leveling up):

 

Once every in-game day (48 minutes), you can sell a stolen vehicle (but not high-end sports cars) at LS Customs. So far, Lampadati Felon (9,000) and Ubermacht Oracle (8,000) seem to be the best choices.

Sorry I crashed, yeah you are told to 'get a car' you just find a car you like the has power and isn't premium. You don't buy any cars atm they are way expensive.
