How to get passed the GTA Online tutorial race bug

All you need to do is Completely remove the Title update files from your xbox/ps3 Once that is done start it up and go right to single player don't start online on the loading screen in case of it freezing, Once in game use Wheel to select online and it should thow you in a Free roam with nothing at all (No missions or anything) Then head back to single player and then restart GTA online and you should be good to go, This worked two times when I told my friends to do it.

Nobody do this. I tried an hour or so ago and the update no longer download for me on xbox.

 

So instead of a character creator to mess around in and an empty free roam I now have nothing I advise people just pretend the game doesn't exist.

Also, if you have the SE/CE/Blimp on PS3 and you delete the patch, it deletes that content with it. Somehow, they merge together. I had to re-download my content 3 different times. Thankfully, it's just an unlock code and not a actual download.

Tried it 3 times . Still looking at the Los Santos skyline. Waiting for players.

At least i had some time to vacuum the house.

Try doing a clear of the System Cache. I tried multiple times to connect normally but soon as I did the clear out of the cache it worked flawlessly first time and haven't been kicked once!
