No need for ATM? - Can someone test this

Last night when i was online, I found that you can deposit / withdraw cash from your phone i.e. you don't have to go to the ATM...

 

If you go to the internet, then money and services, then Maize (sp) Bank, you can log into your account. I was able to deposit money from cash to the bank whilst sat in my car.

 

Can someone else check this if they get chance?

When you say limit, do you know how much? I was able to deposit a small amount, 500 or all of my cash (at the time I had 2050 in hand)

I remember I read something about this from a guy who played gta online before it was released and he said there was a limit, like you can deposit 500 or 50 on phone. So if you have 2050 you haveto deposit 4x 500 and then 50. But if you use atm you can deposit all your money with one time use.

I saw "IamSpoon" put in like 8-9k using his phone, so using the phone is probably the safest/fastest way. Well early on, i doubt you will make more than 10k until you progressed quite a bit. So you could just simply use your phone everytime you're done with a mission, so you don't hit the limit. You might have to use ATM later on, when you start doing heists and stuff. This is all considering there is a limit.

Oh okey, oh well the limit is atleast more than 8.000$, and im quite sure if there is a limit it is most likely at 30-100k+ or something. (Just making a wild guess )

The limit is def over 14k as I've just watched someone do it. You can deposit in small denominations, medium or the whole lot...

Hell, even if it is a limit, you can hide in great places using your phone, most ATM's are most likely in a open visible area, where people would camp for other people trying to put money in the bank.

and just putting 14k at a time is great enough using the phone in a secure location. I'm quite sure i will use my phone at all times, too scared to walk up to a atm and get shot by some "ATM campers"

Yea I kinda think its silly to be able to deposit from your phone. I didn't see any real limit and I think I was able to deposit around 2500 in one go on the phone. But it really does ruin the idea of the atm's and getting to them quickly and safely after a mission is kinda exciting because of the risk factor. They should either charge you (a convenience fee) for depositing from your phone or remove the option.

Yea nothing wrong with the option I just think it then negates any risk factors so I reckon a small fee for using the internet banking would be cool. And yea I also did think of ATM campers however there are quite a number of atm's around the map so its doubtful that there would be campers at each and every one - Also you are able to see players on the map so if you see a blip near the atm you're going to you can just divert and try another.
