Hello, I have been perusing the Grand Theft Auto V forums for a small period of time, and I would like to just ask a question.

Why is everybody so negative? Sure, Grand Theft Auto V isn't the game to end all games, but it is still extremely good with years of work and effort put into it.

Complaints about Grand Theft Auto Online also strike me as "Baby Not Getting His Bottle." Why are you guys complaining about this? We all knew that the servers would have extreme problems and to not believe so would make you a fool. You guys aren't the ones working through the night to please the unappeasable. Rockstar may have goofed up, but in all honesty, what video game companies don't? They aren't Jesus, they aren't gods, they are just people. People like you and I. I'm not here to criticize Rockstar, and yes, GTA 5 is not a perfect ten, but could you guys please just cut them a bit of slack? At least they appear to care about their community, unlike some companies. I'd also like to squeeze in my thanks for the great game Rockstar gave us, not perfect, not the greatest, but it is still a fantastic game.

I'm in no hurry to jump into Online & am glad to wait until it's stable. I don't care about being left behind, as this will be the first game I've played online (not counting phone games). So it will all be exciting for me.

 

I just saw a comment on the Newswire, saying "When can I start throwing real money at this Online game?" (paraphrasing) Most people can't even play the game & this idiot is already wanting to spend real scratch on virtual cash.

 

I f*cking hate this planet & everyone in it. Including me.

Basically, gamers are assholes. They want everything for nothing. If they pay for something, they expect more in return than they're going to get. More than they're paying for.

 

For example, with GTAO, people are claiming R* abandoned the SP for Online, as that will make them more money.

 

NOT TRUE. Online has microtransactions, which are optional. It's only the lame ass losers that can't be bothered to put in effort to earn money that will be buying in-game cash on Daddy's mastercard. They just want to be the first to do something, so they have online bragging rights. When something gets in the way of those bragging rights, they get angry and puke their opinion on the internet in the hope that other rage-filled dicks will support them.

Sadly, they do.

 

Those of us that are accepting and patient have to weather the storm until these impotent little fools wander off to some other game in the search of more bragging rights, more trophies/achievements because they've run out of things to be TEH BEZT at.

 

It's a f*cking embarrassment, to be honest.

It's not always like this and trust me, the regular users here aren't all negative. This place just explodes with trolls everytime a GTA comes out. It'll calm down in a while and good discussion will resume.

Oh yes, I do know that. But considering the staggering amount of complaining individuals attempting to berate Rockstar as if they are affiliated with this site, I just thought it would be right to have at least one post be positive.

Look it was just an analogy, I'm sorry if I made you angry with it. I am not here to argue with anybody, I was just stating my opinion. But if you just want to assume I am riding the Rockstar fanwagon, please, you are entitled to. I don't care if you hate GTA V, I was just, again stating my opinion.
