CharlieSheem
No you aren't.....you are glitching out, you ain't launching sh*t GTAO. P.S. I love how they didn't think to add a timeout to this...have to dashboard/reload game just to exit out of the 1st mission because it says Launching Session forever on the 1st race vs Lamar. .kiwi_4 and Boxman108
Amireke
The answer to this problem has been posted via video at least once for Xbox users. Go to your storage, delete the recently downloaded patch, open GTA 5 and download the patch again. Then join a solo session. I had the same problem and once I did this, I loaded in on the first time and completed the race with Lamar and haven't had a problem on getting to at least solo sessions. I know the solution makes absolutely no sense, but it works. I've been playing online since last night. Online still has it's problems past that, but you can do other things instead of looking at a glitched waiting for players screen.
NickStone
It's not actually "glitching out", it's still trying to connect to the server (which means it could still connect, even if it's 5 hours from now.) If it was glitched out, unplugging my Ethernet cable would have no effect. But doing so will quickly throw you back into single-player...so that's always good to know, if you're not wireless. dewan2000
Xbox live just seems messed up in general. Trouble connecting, random dicconnects ect.

After you delete the patch it doesn't even give you an option of joining a solo session...
Boxman108
I've tried deleting and reinstalling multiple times among many other things. Nothing works. Funny how this is apparently commonplace in online gaming and yet I have never had this specific problem with any other game out there.
