Whats with this assisted aim crap?!?!

the first 8hours or so of online the aiming was free aim, i log on today and every lobby is assisted??

 

did the childeren get their way so fast?

 

And is thier an option to join a free aim lobby like in the past GTA?!?!

The problem is that we have to play this with gamepads. On PC there is no thing as aim assist, only the consoles have this sh*t as gamepads f*cking suck.

If there is no free aim, when online actually works properly, theres a very good chance that i will sell my copy of the game ......i might even sell my ps3 and all my games...

Whatever man, if you're such a PC elitist troll then why did you buy the game for console, was it worth the early release buddy?

 

If nobody has aim assist it's perfectly manageable, you won't be snap shooting but it's fun to play, the aim assist is just for a casual audience.

I have games that i never play, and i could use the money...the only reason i am still on ps3 is because of this game...and i only bought gta 5 because of online....if its not enjoyable for me, i think id rather have some extra money instead of a gaming system that ill probably never use again...

When dropping into an online session the aiming is based on the setting you have. I have free-aim and when I invited a friend (who was using auto-aim in SP) to my online session he got a warning that said something like "the online session has a different aiming system to yours, your aim will change, do you wish to proceed"

 

Once he dropped in his aim had changed to free-aim and when you go to settings this cannot be changed as it is locked.

 

So the system seems to work really well, whatever your current aiming setting is before entering an online session determines the players and world you will be matched with. I didn't notice any auto-aimers in any of my free-roam or lobby sessions because as mentioned once you enter an online session you are unable to change your aiming settings.

Im usually a PC player so free aim is not acceptable for me. Smooth assists like in Call of Duty would be fine but snapping is just over the top.
