Instead of a fail to host message I am now getting a messaging

 

"Timed out when matchmaking for a compatible GTA Online session to join"

 

Is this a sign of some progress?

I wouldn't really call this "progress" :)

Progress is if you make it past the first race mission.

im still getting the unable to host error. My 4th character is showing though and it wasn't showing before, like the actual pic of him is showing now..
