Anyone robbed an Armoured Truck in GTA Online yet?

Yes, I was on a temporary character so it didn't save, but I got 10K from it and a fair amount of XP (granted I was at level 1 and leveled up twice). Not gonna lie, it feels harder to shoot open the back doors online than it was in single player. Maybe to encourage the use of sticky bombs to open? I was also using the sh*tty baretta though so it could just be that.

Ive seen one armoured truck in singleplayer, wont change much in mp i guess.

You can start robbing armored trucks at rank 20 :-)

Maybe you are right but at rank 20 you unlock sticky bombs and will get notifications for their location

So you DO need a house? I had a theory about that yesterday but didnt want to blow my hard earned money on a virtual house just to have but in that case ill be making my purchase when I log on

Ahhhh ok then, i can see that we'll obviously need a crew for this then. Would it be a good idea to post a Heist thread sticky, basically for when a person without a crew wishes to do a heist he/she can post the heist they plan on doing and others can offer their services for a cut?? Just an idea

Well you do not need a crew to do heists. If all true, if you own an apartment you will be able to do it with npcs but the only difference is npcs get a fixed cut of your loot when with other people you can betray lol or maybe rockstar has a matchmaking system for heists aswell

There are no heists yet. R* said they add it later on as a free update.

I'm level 33 and I've not seen any money trucks so far !!!

I am lvl 24 or 25, " I myself got sticky bombs at lvl 19" and I found a single armored truck at about lvl 23, and the truck contained quite a good chunk of change.

The truck contained 11K almost 12K, but from what my knowledge is it can contain more than that amount I got.

Yeah, I'm level 30 & have yet to see any armored trucks.

I personally haven't seen any yet, but even if I did, I'd probably try and wait until I got either an explosive (see stick bombs) for the doors, or speed up and run over the guy with the briefcase, then grab it and drive off (I did this a few times in SP).

Yea sometime after i did some missions for lester. They show up on the map. I got 4500$. I only do it for the thrill

Same here, also a message box in the corner to tell me to check the map for it. I haven't blown one up yet though, but if I did I'd just phone Lester to drop my stars

Lvl. 23, have robbed 3 so far. Got a notification when I turned level 20 about them being available. I got like 10k per van.

Steal it, then C4 the doors, you don't get much if you just straight up blow the van up, or shoot it to death.

i did not blow it i rigged the door's when it was waiting at the red light and blew the c4 when it was halfway across the intersection
