This topic seems to be rather inactive, but wanted to post in the appropriate place.

I'm a bit of a noob, and have a few questions about logging in/out of CEO Boss and MC club president and how all of that works:

  • I know if you retire/disband out of both, you can avoid business raids - unless it's a ghost raid then you won't even know it with no phone calls - at least that's what I've read...but if you're logged out of both do your businesses still keep making money passively?
  • Whether you're logged in or out, do your businesses keep making money/producing product when you exit the game?

Also, I use a simple little free auto-clicker called "OP Auto Clicker" you can find it on github. I use it mostly to keep from getting timed out when I have to answer phone calls, grab a bite to eat or go afk for a bit for whatever else.

I pull up the web browser on phone, and go to the vinewood cinema page>the Laura Johnson mystery> scroll down a bit and set my cursor there - as it's mostly blank with no other links - just in case my mouse is bumped.

I've also used it sometimes keeping the game running when I go to sleep, thinking that I might have to stay active online to keep making passive income/product etc.

  • Is this correct?
  • Do your biz's produce passively either way?
  • Or does it not matter if you stay active online or exit the game?

THANKS ALL!

As far as I know, the MC businesses/Bunker/Nightclub keep producing as long as you are in-game. So going afk with a rubber-band around your controller/something pressing down on your Caps Lock is a viable strategy.
And no, you don't have to be CEO/MC president for the product to generate.

Thanks so much. Good to know.  However, I was wondering: do you have to be outside? I go afk overnight with my auto clicker, but I'm in my office. I notice in the morning that my phone has hardly any texts or anything. Not even from Martin spamming me with ATT invites.

No, you definitely don't have to be outside. Worked for me inside the Bunker for a long time.

Any tips on what to do next, or if i should just keep on? I've got 6.5 mill now, and I only own an MC clubhouse. I dont actually own any business there (the forged documents +++ all that stuff.).

All I do is the MC shop and daily tagging. The MC deliveries are so so easy, and idk why but very often the cooldown is way faster than it prob is supposed to?

I'm honestly pretty content, nothing feels grindy or too overwhelming. I'm already burned out IRL so I dont want chores and grind in-game.

But I have the free bunker up north. Wondering if I should get it? I'm not sure what that entails.

I dont want jobs and chores that are like:

Go to A to pick up X, deliver to B while getting shot at by NPCs/chased by police etc.

Or any variation of that.

I get enough of that in RDO and I barely even bother there either anymore with that grind. 🥴

Are there any other options for newbies, that dont feel like a constant nag or job, but something you can just do whenever you want/is easy and quick?

Disclaimer: "Go to A to pick up X, deliver to B while getting shot at by NPCs/chased by police etc." is GTA Online in a nutshell.

If you still want to play, here's what I would do as a new player with money to spend:

  1. Buy a High-end apartment, they come with 10 normal garage slots. The MC clubhouse is only for bikes.
  2. Do you like heists? Buy a Kosatka submarine and play the Cayo Perico heist. Can entirely be done solo.
  3. Get yourself an Acid Lab. You can get one for basically free by playing the First Dose missions. (starts at R, at the convenience store near Sandy Shores). The acid lab is the best passive business in the game, and solo friendly. Just don't go to the top of the parking garage when you get that mission, it's a trap. Instead, shoot at any cops on ground level, and drive away.
  4. Play the Last Dose missions for a free car. Make sure you have free garage space before you go and collect it.
  5. Buy the Garment Factory, and play the FIB files.
  6. Buy an Agency on the Dynasty 8 Executive website (cheapest one in Little Seoul is fine) and play the Dr. Dre contract. Solo friendly. The Agency also allows you to install Imani Tech in the free car you got from the Last Dose missions.
  7. Skip the free Paleto Forest Bunker up north, and invest in a good one. Preferably Farmhouse, or maybe Chumash. Put your staff to work on research, and make sure to visit every hour for the Ammu-Nation deliveries. If you put the staff on production, make sure you own the equipment and staff upgrades, and then, to keep it solo friendly, only buy supplies once, then sell just below a quarter of product level, buy supplies again, repeat.
  8. Buy a Nightclub, and make sure the popularity stays up for some passive income. (optionally: buy a Terrorbyte so you can unlock the trade price on the Oppressor mk2, doing 6 Client Jobs)

Thank you! Oh I forgot I have the high end ap. too 😂

Again, thanks! I'm sick and tired of the YT videos where all the tips and guides are like "this is very grindy at first" / "buy this, its great for solo beginners...but first you should own x and y and z (super duper expensive items)" 🥴

So I think Acid Lab and the sub are my best bet for next things then prob!
