Mount Chiliad Mystery Solved?

So I swear on all that is holy, I had never read that sisyphus stuff, but I had the idea a few days to try rolling that boulder outside of the cable car down the mountain and I even tried to figure out how to bring the orange ball to the mountain. I also tried to figure out if there is a certain path to roll that ball down it's own mountain.

I noticed someone earlier pointing out the letters 'DRZ' on the GTA V map, well I was searching the rest of the map and found another DRZ on it, just by the 'Senora National Park' to the left of the letter 'S' there you can see DRZ in the desert area.

 

Ofc the DRZ means nothing to us now but you never know it could mean something later. Is there anything it could stand for ?

the altruist camp itself is weird. not that i just noticed.

it's not the first time i thought about how weird is it that all these explosive crates are laying around

some of them contain stuff or the boxes they themselves destroy

 

but i wonder

if that gate was open

could you forklift those explosive crates into the cave perhaps?

(and most suprisingly it doesnt exists on web either - by now ) remember the loading screen with trevor holding a lighter, with a house at his background? look closely at the sky, there is a line - a falling meteorite / unknown object.. im sure it wasnt a heli, jet, or plane.. could someone pinpoint the probably location of the falling object is?

my sister said that the loading screen is based on one of trevor job/mission..

DRZ is prolly a blast tag .......

I know when I tagged it was in the late 90's as Solo1

But in quick blasts it was SL O1

I dont know if this is the case with DRZ... But it makes sense since there is so much graffiti all over the place.

instead of just asking how about contributing and doing research yourself. He wrote DRZ, you read DBZ, forgot glasses maybe ? yes and it is written in two place of the entire map maybe more that we are missing.

It's DRZ. Form the reddit thread someone also spotted it. Sadly though it means nothing as apparently it's one of the graphics artist initials.

Don't know if that has been covered, but a little before online was released there was a fake image floating around showing a R* support ticket saying there is a flyable UFO. I'd like to put a pin in that as they got back to me only today:

I now fully believe that:

 

1. The ufo box on the "map" simply refers to being able to see the UFOs in the game

2. The Egg "hatching" simply refers to the "hatch" easter egg in the game where he morse codes asking you to go bowling

3. The jetpack pictures..obviously refers to a jetpack in the game, as the poster above me shows a reply from support saying there is a special vehicle and a special mission in order to get it.

 

I believe Epsilon/chris fromage has the jetpack and this is why "chris fromage" appears floating in that little cutscene for GTA:O

Where he talks about gaining the ability to float around and spy on people without them knowing about it.

 

Has anyone actually found Chris fromage in the game? Maybe he has a quest chain that eventually rewards you with the Jetpack.(is he hiding in Mount chiliad perhaps? Pretending to be an alien to the altruists?)

 

I do not believe there is more to the UFO easter egg's other than maybe another UFO sighting we have yet to find.

I believe that Michael has a hidden mission in this game, where he will eventually (if we can find it) Confront Chris about this cult (its not a cult..its not a cult..ITS NOT A CULT), When confronted by michael I believe he will Let michael in on his "floating" secret.

I do think you are right... since collecting the tracts... I feel like there is more.

 

I never even thought about that.. no mission cleared screen for those tracts.. The mission is not complete then, even doing the alltruist rampage.(after taking them 4 people) once you kill them all, it gives a complete screen.. and its not an "story" mission either...

 

Going back to work on this at once,

Dude the forklift !! i couldnt figure out a way to bring a dead mountain lion into the fire . i mentioned this before where the hell can i find a forklift and can it get to the cave ?

i would create a quicksave when you are finally up there or halfway

(these save your exact location and your vehicle, don't they? )

a normal save would spawn you back at a safehouse is my guess

so load that quicksave if by chance the forklift breaks
