I must be "that person" then, hm? I actually honestly didn't mean that comment as a "PlAy aS uR OwN GeNdEr oR ILL KIlL YoU!!1!" I just find it odd as to why you'd want to play as the opposite gender. Guys 99% of the time do it. That 1% being that freak above who I'm pretty sure is actually a dude.. Looks like it to me.

It's like guys think it's "o So HaWt" like, really? LOL. Yes, I do admit that I have sometimes wanted to create a guy character because I personally like their clothes better (Don't ask). It doesn't bother me, it just strikes me as odd. That's all. Again, I don't take it personally. Neither should you.

Anywho, this is going completely off-topic, so I shall conclude that conversation.

 

The guys who do it because it's "hot" and dress very slutty, are weird yes. Just realise there are also lots of guys who aren't objectifying mysogynists and have a female for valid reasons. There are more relationships between a man and a woman than the sexual one, you know. It's not like every guy looks at his female char in a sexual way and says to himself "o So HaWt". That said, the guys who do that (mostly kids, actually) just have issues IRL and yes they are weird.

 

Wow so much judging going on in here! and some big words that admittedly kids like me don't understand yet...you ever seen that film Weird Science from the 80's or 90's?

What exactly are your 'valid reasons' for creating a female character then? If you created your female character and don't think she's hot aren't you really just telling us you're a crossdressing battyhole wannabe?!

 

You don't get my point, I'm talking about the kids who create females literally only because they're "hot" and ONLY look at them sexually. Kids who look at them as objects, something without a personality. Objectifying mysogynists, as I said before. Of course you can think your char is hot, it only becomes a problem when you look at them as NOTHING but sexual and as though they're things.

 

You really can't blame natural law of nature.

Really tho, it's weird.

I don't know about anyone else, but I like to play as both a male and a female character. It's an open-world game after all. In a game where you can shoot down cops and gangbangers, steal cars, kill a civilian with one punch and steal planes whenever you feel like. The game is all about your experience with the world, and it's your game to play. In the Saints Row games you may create an obese character with bright pink skin, a green afro and makeup. It's your character, you can do whatever you want with them.

 

But with this particular game I can't create a male character I'm happy with, so I'm using my female character while I perfect the look of my male character.

 

Also, I do apologise for the hostility you've received here. But in our defence, we keep getting mocked for it and made to feel like we shouldn't be able to do what we want in video games.

Only stupid narrow minded rejected azzholes look at women as if we were only sexual objects, they probably see it that way because they are so sad they have to pay to touch a woman, also maybe they forgot they have a mother.

 

 

Personally I don't care if a guy makes a female character, and I don't care if they see their character as a sexual object, but to see real people as nothing but an object is just irrational and dumb.
