Yeah so... I made a 3rd account sooo... My latest newbie chars level 9 and 10 now

 

Went for a Mafiosi look.

 

And my Kansas Cowgirl... She actually looks better in game then that this picture shows.

It's a bit annoying about the pigtails merging into the jackets though, ain't it?

But this updated version of your character reminds me of someone I made in the Sims 2 way back when

 

Seriously though, if you were going for an "older look" without making him an old man, I think you did a good job with this update

Yes. Very. Though it doesn't appear to be happening to everyone.

I love the new head tilt feature. Finally you're not stuck with just one generic type selfie.

 

And the highlights for hair. If there is one criticism I have for some of the folks in this thread is you're not using the highlighting feature for the hair. I'm not just talking about goofy colors (like I have currently on mine). I'm saying if you have a blonde hair person...try a darker or lighter blonde highlight for contrast. It will add dimension to the hair style. And as some of you know, your hair changes colors depending on how much sun exposure it gets...so why only a solid hair color for your avatar? Change it up!

 

Really loving putting different colored streaks on my chick's black hair.

Oh yes...when you cycle through the colors of hair (the base) I think you use L2 + R2, but the highlights cycle using L1 + R1

You have to enable them first though. It's X on the Xbox, so that's Square on the PS4. Then you can cycle through the colors with L1/R1/LB/RB.
