Just a quick note - if you're on a computer, you can pull up the Snapmatic on the Social Club and click on Copy and then just Paste your pic directly into this forum... I understand it's different if you're on a phone, but there are enough folks asking how to do this that I thought I'd throw it out there...

So now I've managed to save all my Snapmatic pics of my characters (yeah, 2 characters! My Dude, and The Girl!) to my phones pic album. Maybe I can save em on my photbucket & copy IMG link to my posts......

So many of you look similar Only AAR's looks totally different

 

Unfortunately, Rockstar starts everyone with the same basic "head" and allows you to morph small elements, so nearly everyone will look related in some way, since the skull structure beneath is the same. I actually spent a good 45 minutes trying to make this character look like she does and she's quite a bit different from my FIRST female, so I'm happy. At least she doesn't have the "crack whore" look about her like my last character. 8 hours of sleep, a lot of time on the couch and ZERO illegal activities meant a more fleshy appearance.

 

Fun thing is, R* CAN'T have the same level of customization as games like Saints Row... SR doesn't host THOUSANDS of individualized characters on their servers, all playing at the same time, PLUS NPCs who apparently go about their business whether or not players are around. In order to minimize frame rate issues, they had to cut somewhere... And really, the ONLY time I look at anyone else's character (aside from my fellow crew members) is in the waiting lobby when picking out cars for a race, so it isn't like we really lost anything.

My new character is a Colombian immigrant who came to San Andreas for job opportunities, sadly she had to dive deep into the drug underworld of gta online because she needs to provide her family in Colombia money so they can one day come to live with her.

I guess it doesn't help you can't change body shape etc.

I still have not seen hardly any decent looking characters apart from the same 2 faces. .

My female still has double eye brows I refuse to ever post Them day 1 glitches stay forever.

Just wanted the thank all here for the tips, tricks & help with posting pics! On phone now, so limited. But I have an entire snapmatic to add here from before I delete and start over.

having different looking characters wouldn't cost any frame rates. all it needs is different meshes. meshes wouldn't effect the performance, all they would need to do is use different recolours of the same skin texture (they already do). the only reason characters look the same, is simply down to the fact that rockstar were lazy when it came to Online.

I figured out another problem, you're posting the link to the image location, what you should do is hold down on the picture, then Open link in new tab, THEN copy THAT URL. you should end up with the URL to a white page that just dismays your picture. now put that link in [/img*] without the *.

Yeah, I got it...! But didn't get it yet.

When I click a pic in SC, it opens that one, but no URL in the preview..?

 

Maybe I should just wait til I get home. This DOES pass a lot time here at work tho!

yeah after you have the pic open like that in SC, then HOLD down and then Open image in new tab. wait what phone do you have, and what browser?
