I hit the random button so many times and there almost wasnt a single character I liked, and the 1 I had got deleted somehow and I just "liked" cause all others looked like geeks on cracks. Its just impossible to make a character you like, especially without the random button. I always really look forward to making characters in videogames, Im 23, but this just made me wanna cry lmao.

Lock n' Stock

R* dont do anything with character creation. Make missions and fun stuff to do in game. I couldnt give 2 sh*ts what my character looks like.

I wonder why most games suck these days and see the sh*t you f*cking retards request and then i know why games are garbage. You dont wanna play fun game you want your character to look a certain way and have some sh*t in a garbage game.

Jesus

Wait, you're actually telling Rockstar not to improve a feature that desperately is crying for improvement?. Tell me genius, how does improving features in a video game equate that as the game turning into garbage? My god the stupidity of some people, you clearly don't know what the f*ck you're talking about.

Agreed :^:

haha, they kinda do look like drug addicts...or like they've had too much botox. It's not too bothersome though. I think it's funny, and GTA is supposed to be entertaining.

It sucks, yes. In this day and age, they could release apps and have websites where you can make you character exactly like you want. Then save it, and it goes in the game. Easy as that. It's not a bad idea with the grandparent thing, but it sounds much better than it actually is.

E•MO•TION

I launched GTAO a few minutes ago then quickly returned to single player.

Mom's Mother

Mom's Father

Mom's Resemblance

Dad's Mother

Dad's Father

Dad's Resemblance

Your Gender

Your Resemblance.

Bleh, too complicated. My brain exploded.

EDIT: I tried again and found a random character that I liked, I started adjusting his lifestyle settings and OMG, YOUR LIFESTYLE CHOICE AFFECT YOUR CLOTHING? :sui:

Some tips to alleviate the drug addict-look.. :)

Use less Illegal Activity-Stats (the less the fresher look)

Make sure you get enough sleep (4 hours only WILL show wear and tear on your character)

Put a younger age on the Character

I swear they mixed up the male/female heights. It's just so jarring how short males are versus females

^^This

I tried several variations of attributes and my female still looks like an amazon while males appear dwarfish.

Weird because Lamar did mention how short my guy was. Would be kinda weird if he was supposed to say that to the women, because the height for males seems to be about right for women.

It's sh*t. And there's only like 13 grannies to choose from, what a joke. I just pressed 'random' a couple of times till I got a character that looked somewhat decent.

Homemade Dynamite

I liked the concept because it sounded different and innovative, but the execution was piss poor. I designed my character to be half-white, half-asian but I can't tell if she's half-asian or half-hispanic.

That picture of the female ina bussiness suit standing next to the clothes clerk cracks me up
she looks like she's gonna be murdered.

Hats off to Rockstar for trying something new. The whole parent/grandparent idea is bold and unique - but it doesn't work for your fans.

Now do the right thing and listen to the feedback regarding character creation and do something about it. Please. For the love of my retarded dopey looking character. On a completely unrelated note, I may now support euthanasia...

Cheers!

Yeah the GTA:O CC wasn't much to celebrate for. Hardly no difference whatever you do. No personalities, except for being a junkie or not. An improved CC is needed. And what's up with the Crew shirts, just stick a large square logo on the shirt? It looks overdramatically ugly.

Is there no way to make the male character more muscular and tall? Even with max sports and workout i look like a skinny dude

probably because men (most men) don't wear high heels

Plus Lamar is shown to be pretty tall, standing well above Franklin who's supposed to be 6'.

omg i havent even gotten to play online yet and i'm already pissed off. i was really looking forward to making a great character from scratch. what would be so hard about just letting us modify simple facial features, seriously this is elementary character-creation stuff.

This is the worst "creation" i have encountered, The terrible graphics don't help either. 0/10

lol i have to agree, what were they thinking? Even a simple Width,Height, and Face Changer would be 100% better

your lifestyle choices affect your appearance too.. your age, amount of sleep, exercise and how much criminal activity all change how your character looks... criminal activity is by far the most obvious.

I must be a backyard street fighter because my eyes and cheeks are black and red.

What kind of difference? The only one I could see changing anything was illegal work. I also didn't see a difference between 21 years old and 40 years old. These must be extremely minute changes.

I'm very disappointed. I wasted like 30 minutes trying to get my character appearance right, but it still looks like a phucking, short ,skinny hipster. I was expecting something... well.... more advanced. I mean, why not a couple of head models and a few "zippers" to adjust facial features a bit? I can't even see faces of grandparents/parents right...

My personal advice is to go random and find a decent model. My character still looks like a sack full of s**t, but some hat or mask should fix the problem.

Well, we don't know if they'll change the character creation but they can change the height issue if we all are reporting it.

You're right. The character design is ugly but then I think GTA characters have always been hideous especially the girls. Trying to create a female that doesn't look like a man with lipstick on is....well...what it is. I think the girls from IV online looked better. lol.
