Being kicked by other players needs to GO!

I understand there are issues with first day online moments. But finally gettin online and being able to play a few missions only to be kicked by the host( since you couldn't find a BILLION reasons to get dedicated servers and just stuck us with good ol P2P ) for no reason other than he/she is a troll or trying to fill the map with their crew. This feature has got to go and who's ever dumb *** idea it was to even have it implemented has got to go as well to reduce any further stupid decisions!

Ever since I played GTA IV. I always hosted my games by myself. Then a random bunch of people comes in. Everything goes well until one dude after 10 minutes (usually with "KSA" in their name) decides it's funny to vote kick everyone. Next 20 minutes my entire TV screen gets spit full of "wants to kick" messages, until I eventually rage quit.

 

BUT THIS..

 

Is worse. People who just troll you and kick you, so you have to wait hours/days before you can find a game again.

Yeh kicking people is stupid. Let's say for instance a player is being an idiot and ruining the game for everyone else; he or she can simply quit and join another game.

Well the same thing just happened to me I finally got online just to be kicked by sonme pr*ck who thinks its funny.

Yeah I was just mooching around hairdressers, tattooists and clothing shops not bothering anyone when I got kicked. R* need to figure out a happy medium so trolls can be dealt with and those just tryna take a break from missions can chill and do their own thing.

Disagree. It's an useful tool. True it can be used by sh*tty people but more often than not it's used to kick the sh*tty people.

It's used less as a useful tool to get rid of KSA laggers/cheaters than it is used for people to boost stats in their sessions with friends, or just kick someone because they are better then you. I hated this feature in RDR. Totally pointless.

Guys im pretty sure its just a bug, a very big game destroying bug at that... today has been horrible for me, from losing my car to losing 30k of money.

but ive been kicked 2/3 times today "by players" and then the "leaving jobs" message when i wasnt even on a job, so i hosted my own private game with 3 other close friends, we was all driving around when it kicked me saying that the other players in the session had kicked me, which they hadnt, then i got the same leaving job causes bad sport message, we wasnt on a job.

Really hoping rockstar fixes this soon as its really ruining such an awesome online game.

no idea, its done it twice to me now, i also had a modded ruiner, came back on and was back with a sh*tty bike.. when i left the game this morning i exited to single player and it said it was saving.. but it clearly didnt

GTAO sounds like a bag of sh*te. I may have to find something to occupy myself until they fix it.

 

I've been trying to join a game for about 12 hours now, having an attempt every 30 minutes or so. I don't even know if I will play the game properly when I get on, from the sounds of it the mechanics are so broken I may as well just behave like a complete idiot the entire time.

 

What happened to all those players who loved the bad sport function? BAD SPORT FUNCTION, BEST FUNCTION ON ANY GAME EVAR!

Kicking can stay, they just need to set a 3-5 minute timer, so you can't be kicked instantly

I've been kicked during the beginning cinematic of GTA V Online.

I just got kicked within 10seconds of joining a session... So alot of players voted to kick me in 10seconds? I doubt it.

 

I've also been kicked during the tutorial lamar missions, when there wasn't even any other players around to be seen.

 

And I just tried; one person can't kick another alone, even if it's only you and him... (I had to try, as that would've been the biggest pile of shhhh I've ever heard of in an online game)
