Even a company like Blizzard, who are known for these MMO-type games, have had these issues at launch of an online game (Diablo 3), it seems these kinds of issues are unavoidable sadly. That may be the typical response from the avg 12 year old who plays GTA Im new to online gaming (except for COD which is also infested with wretched pre teens) So I was not aware of server issues. but I don't recall ever seeing this kinda crap when playing a COD launch . I went through the first race with minimal problems and got the drugs but it messed up when i went to the first last man standing mission and it was stuck loading for twenty minutes. Recreated an hour later and played for a couple hours with zero issues, no lag no nothing. We'll see how it is when I get on later tonight. I bought a game with online compatibility, I had to wait 2 weeks, and then online didn't work when unlocked. I absolutly loved the story line and the game play. As far as the online part..well I can live without it from what Ive read so far..... You cant play the game without having so tweener mess up your missions cuz he cant resist the urge to run you down/crash into you or just unload his clip into you (well at least R* made closed sessions available... No console game has ever had this much traffic so has never needed to cater for it. Ofcourse R* didn't expect it, nor were prepared for it. They didn't expect to make £1 Billion in their first three days of sales. And, let me remind you, you have had fixes to the only mentioned SP issues. They've been working on that for the past few days, they didn't have time to prepare their servers. And i'm pretty sure they will now be off forking out a lot of their hard earned cash on buying more and bigger servers for us to play on.
