John Marston unlocked?

While playing in SP I got a Social Club pop up that said John Marston was unlocked in the character creator.

What does this actually mean? I tried the character creator, and didn't see an option to make him look like John Marston or whatever.

I have no clue, but if John Marston can be one of my grandparents, there is no way that is not happening.

He's under the "Special dad" thing in char creator (Square button)

 

I dunno who John Marston actually is

 

I saw his pic and I ASSUME hes the main character in RDR.

Yeah he is the main character in RDR. Which poses another question, if he can be a dad in the creator, i assume there's going to be more in a future DLC maybe? what if more are already there, like what if we can have more classic characters from other games that are hidden in some way? e.g. Victor vance, CJ etc.
