Online Character Deleted?!

I had just robbed about 15 stores and had 20k on my character, I was happy with how he looked also got his skills up, his driving skill was up 3.4 bars and my shooting at 1.5bars and stamina at 2 bars wow what a waste of time.....are u serious!

I had it created when there was saves.... so there should of been a back up

Yes, GTA Online should not be live if they can't guarantee we won't lose the characters we're leveling. I can deal with failures to connect, mission glitches, etc, but It is extremely frustrating to lose progress.

Yes, GTA Online should not be live if they can't guarantee we won't lose the characters we're leveling. I can deal with failures to connect, mission glitches, etc, but It is extremely frustrating to lose progress.

Ok? But at the end of the day it still comes down to you having to play a video game more. You guys are complaining about having to play GTA

 

I went on, earned some money with my character and I lost it all. Didn't bother me a bit. You guys should know how buggy it is, so why invest any real time into it until things have been sorted out?

Ok I noticed I have 12850 cash in my bank but my character is still deleted.... f*ck! im not making a new one.. he will never look how he did lol f*ck this.

i kept my character but lost all of my RP and level started back at 1. I even kept my cash, but am unable to remove my mask?

I'm gonna retry tonight or tomorrow i mean iv'e had 2-3 xbox crashes because of joining online then it reverting to SP and world in SP has not loaded one bit so the xbox has to load the whole world LVE and it usually just ends up freezing my xbox. Not to mention the more you see online servers fail the more you hate it. So seriously just don't bother

 

And yes iv'e lost 3 characters but i think i kept my money

We all know the servers are unstable. Just leave it. Jesus you lost some money... Big deal. This happens with every launch of a big game, there are always problems. If only you could see how ridiculous you look, crying over a few hours lost.

Yes but this is a really bad excuse. Guess what, the 2 weeks delayed launch was not for us to enjoy the story or due to GTA:O being its own game. It was to measure the load on the servers by having stuff like BAWSAQ and SocialClub stats active in SP. They knew the amount of players rushing to play this (on e.g. launch day) and they even said they monitor the existing data from SP players and bought new servers to handle the load.

 

It's just pathetic now, could've given us the online portion on day one and it would've been the same (maybe worse due to fewer servers).
