In response to the hundreds of posts being made, I don't see why people are as mad as they are. This should be expected (and was warned that it would happen directly from Rockstar). All major game's online system is buggy and glitchy the first few hours after release; for example, Sim City and Call of Duty matchmaking were barely playable. And those are games have a small fraction of what GTA has to offer.

And to those saying "Rockstar had 2 weeks to get their sh*t together and get the servers ready", you CANNOT possibly prepare for the stress put on the servers (no matter how many they have) when multiple millions of people try to log on to them at the same time.

Sure its sh*t right now, but selling your game or not giving Rockstar another penny again isn't going to do anything to solve the problem. You are the only one who will suffer.

I'd love to see a NewsWire post that reads

"Due to the large volume of complaints regarding GTA V: Online, we will be shutting it down permanently! Enjoy single player!

Regards, Rockstar"

That attitudes would change pretty fast then.

Honestly, I'm shocked at how impatient some of you are. It's grotesque.

What the f*ck is wrong with this generation?

Every generation is entitled and whiny.

Blame the boomers.

I'm upset too, but I expected this, and I'm certainly not flipping out over it like some people here.

This was told it was going to happen, maybe they didnt know so early. But said it was coming. Shut up sit back and listen to a lawn mower or something.

The bad connections doesn't bother me. What bothers me is I spent $20 on GTA$, then I buy a house/garage, ammo, and an infernus. Then my account gets rolled back and all I'm left with is 150,000 and no house/car. Contacts Rockstar - No support.

Mayhem kept it trill. I understand how people can be upset, but come on now. Yall some spoiled as people man. Lmao - I remember the old days of Dreamcast..."Where's your jetpack boy? Technology is a lie sent from Liberals to kill us!" (WKTT - Just or Unjust anyone?) Be realistic with yourself. We are part one of the many online launches across the world. As time progresses people will either change their mind or continue to be bitter about. So check this out, I DON'T want you online, more MF'n space for me. Ha!

This is the information I read about a week ago...

"One thing we are already aware of, and are trying to alleviate as fast as we can, is the unanticipated additional pressure on the servers due to a significantly higher number of players than we were anticipating at this point," said Rockstar in its latest blog post. "We are working around the clock to buy and add more servers."

Despite this, the company is still expecting the early days to be a bit rough. "This increased scale is only going to make the first few days even more temperamental than such things usually are," it stated. "This is part of the problem some of you have been experiencing with the iFruit App and some Social Club services - we apologise in advance for this and thank you for your patience in this area."

Therefore, I am calm.

You just CAN'T say that to the kids here.

Whatever they want, momma and daddy gives them. They don't know what patience is.

1 billion + in sales, 5 years+ to develop the game, an extra 2 weeks to finish up the multiplayer and they still can't get right. R* fanboys need to seriously get a grip and stop blindly supporting these mega rich(slacking) companies when there is clearly a problem.

We knew this would be an issue by Sept 25th. If you are gonna be mad, you shoulda been upset by then when they said they still need to setup servers to support the unpredicted 1 billion sales at that time. With enough common sense, I knew even before the announcement but as soon as I heard how much they sold this would be an issue...I get that it sucks but I just don't get all this cry as if R* didn't clearly state this launch will be bad.
