Anyone actually get passed the first race on NA PS3?

Yeah. Just trying to find out if it's a "too many people playing already" issue, or if it's a "the PS3 servers don't even f*cking work" issue.

same issue for me it will be good if rockstar lets us choose if we go to the marker or not instead of just walking init then error

I have not heard one story of a PS3 user getting online and staying online.

 

Hell I've had to make a new char 5 times now. I've given up on trying every 5 minutes and now just wait to try every hour or two.

Same. Got excited as f*ck like an hour ago when my multiplayer guy started showing up on the wheel and I started getting online tips when attempting to launch, but it still hasn't worked once since I got on this morning to get through the intro sequence.

We're talking about NA GTAO on the PS3.

NA, EST PS3.

 

It was working a couple hours ago if you went through the single player Start menu, Online, Single Player or Friend Invite, then load up intro after making your character. You just had to wait a very long time after getting dropped off by Lamar for a race to actually start.

 

Right now I'm getting a Rockstar Servers Down message, so just try again in like a couple hours or so.

nvm game crashed save failed and got to do all over again...

i had found a backway in earlier. I went to the tab in the pause menu and selected Solo. It was on my other profile so it was the 1st time and it led me str8 into freemode. I got halfway to rank 5 and switched to Franklin to see what would happen (which i already knew) and when I tried to go back BAM no dice. Well it was a great 45 mins robbing stores and evading cops and getting skills for it.
