Unable To Start Mission Uncalculated Risk

In order to start this mission all thirteen of the parachute jumps need to be completed. Unfortunately my game only has twelve parachute jumps because the 'RUNAWAY TRAIN' jump cannot ever be performed now that Trevor blew up the train. There's still cargo containers and a destroyed locomotive on the bridge where you're supposed to land on the moving train and they're never going to go away. It's one of those indelible scars on the scenery like the trailer park or meth lab that Trevor blew up.

Although I am not sure if it is supposed to be a completely indelible mark on the map or what because trains can still move across that bridge. They go right through the containers. Franklin, on the other hand, does not go through those containers. He was promptly crushed to death when I rode a train over the bridge and he was rammed into one of the containers as the entire train practically went up his ass.

Well, I've got the same problem as in the title: unable to start this mission. However, I did all 13 jumps twice... Somehow I think this mission is bugged on me. Anyone else has the same problem? Or any solutions? It's preventing me to get the 100% trophy :(

I was finally able to start the mission. The containers and destruction laying all around the area finally cleaned itself up.

I'm having this issue at the moment. Don't suppose you remember how long it took or if something triggered the cleanup?

This just reminded me of a bug in GTA 3 (purple nines bug) and a similar one in vice city where stuff from a previous save doesn't clear out of memory....

See if this fix it.

Quick save your game in a new slot.

Start a new game and play through the prologue mission and I believe you don't get an opportunity to save til after the first gameplay mission so do that too.

Quicksave into a new slot.

Load up your New game save slot.

Then try loading up your previous save slot (your bugged game) and see if the wreckage has fixed itself.

The whole idea of the above is to start a new game and have the "WORLD" get recreated as it would be in a new game-- then hopefully the fixed wreckage will carry back to your save.

I have no idea if this will work-- in the GTA 3 bug-- the fix was to turn on the PS2 and start a new game with your memory card removed, otherwise if you had a save loaded where the purple nines were already killed off, the new game would have them killed off too and you can never pass the mission where you are supposed to kill them.

I thought the wreckage cleared after a story mission or two. Or is that where this bug technically exists, the train wreck never disappearing.

I've just driven along the tracks and there is no wreckage.

No jump. No wreckage. Bahh!!

Does anyone know the location of the jump so I can go there and see if there is anything there, just in case it is there but not on the map for some reason...

Thanks for all your continued help Spuds!

I think this one is the one that's on the southern most road that goes through Raton Canyon, if you look at the map and see that hiking trail that branches into 3 pathways, it's at the very end of the middle branch of those trails. Hopefully I explained it good enough, if not let me know and I'll try to give some more info.

Also it's very possible that driving around by it might trigger it to show up, as it worked for me on a different parachute jump I needed.

Hi guys, sorry, been really busy at work and only just got back onto GTA this weekend.

That one's unlocked and ticked...
Hmm, Dom called me whilst playing online funnily enough but still only 12 jumps available...

Gonna see if I can find a map online with all the jumps on it so I can work out what's missing on mine

Ah, okay, I've just seen on someone else's map they have one just to the North of the one you've described.
Whichever that is, I'm missing...
