So, I am wondering has this been working for anyone else?

 

Well told by a certain npc to go get it a tracker and some insurance in my sexy saber gt and I did, then later I crashed(from the game, not literaly), and of course the car vanished..

 

I got some of those silly prompts telling me to call the insurance company for a replacement, but funny thing is they arent in my contacts..

 

Anyone been able to use the insurance thing yet?

If it gets totaled or disapers for what ever reason.

Yea, I got the exact same problem, so i deleted the character and made a new one, except now i can't even load the first race.

can you tell me how does the preferred vehicle thing happen? i haven't got online yet but is the first choice important? how do you pick the car? please answer

You get it as a toutorial mission, go steal any car of your choice, take it to the paintshop where you can respray, add tracker and insurance to it for free. After that you can't get insurance for another vehicle until you level up further (Because the insurance option becomes locked) and it's pretty expensive (8000 something for tracker and probably more for insurance). After that you have a contact in your phone which you can call to get your stolen/destroyed/lost insured car back. Now the problem is we didn't have that contact in our phone so there was no way for us to get our car back. I would say the first car choice is relatively important, but you can get a new car later on.

I just bought a obey 9f ( audi r8 ) online . When I got it my friend blew it up I then called the insurance so i can get my car back and i paid for the coverage but then the car impound logo didnt pop up on my map . So I turned off my xbox and when I went back online and went to my garage there were 2 duplicates of my other car and not the 9f . Plus I cant even order the obey 9f anymore
