Online Status: Post your console!

I figured it would be relatively interesting to see if there are disparages between the two systems at the moment, as many folks here seem to be having success with certain versions of the game, while others are not. No console wars here, please! We all have the same goal, and that is to experience the game online.

 

Console: PS3

Status: Able to create a character, but unable to get past the joining screen without the "session timed out" error. Been trying for ~2 hours.

Status: Can not even get to the "race" part. Stops working in the "Can not reach Rockstar servers. Return to GTA V and try again later.".

Able to make char, access SOLO online, watch intro, char goes to initial race, get an error.

PS3 in North America, Have been trying since it opened at 6 AM and now it's 10:22 AM, literally haven't been able to get into 1 game, because it always stops right at the first mission. Xbox however seems to be now fully recovering and up for a lot of players. *Sigh*, f*ck you PSN.

Ps3 US east - been unable to go online for 4 hours now. Can go into solo mode, but can't start the race.

Location, Norway, Europe.

 

Can create character, and go into Online in solo session.

Game fails to connect to host (or similar) when i try to start the first race, and i get booted back to SP, one one occasion the game crashed.

Along with the occasional "cloud server unavailable"

Got to the marker for the first race twice. Nothing since then. Every error message possible.

On a side note, i was actually able to play the game on PS3 for as long as i wanted in solo mode 1 time, because during the into, instead of loading the cut-scene it dropped my character right next to the Vinewood Sign. No idea how the hell that happened, but it was funny.

Seems like most of the problems are with the ps3 side of the game. Haven't been able to get online either with my ps3. - The Netherlands

Xbox users also posted complaints, appearently its working on the xbox platform, but they are having major issues like characters being deleted, freezes, etc.
