Character Glitch?

I got online and made a character. Then I timed out over and over again. When I finally got into the race thing my character was nothing like the one I created and was bald. Has this happened to anyone ?

No, thankfully I'am not having your issue. But I just cannot progress through the first mission. It either doesn't show up or freezes on a screen soon after starting that gives me an error.

My guy looks like a girl with makeup and he has headphones on now. It's aggravating but I don't want to recreate him and risk not getting on for another hour
