As said its ILLEGAL to "sell" a product that isn't then provided to the customer after the said purchase. Its called fraud. As said the websites should have remained down like in single player.

 

I have to admit the game as a whole is great. But they made allot off mistakes. From the spring delay, to the safehouse issue, the lack of interiors issue, tmotorcycle physics, the online two week delay, now unintentional fraud.

If you would look and read closely, he DID receive the money and he actually spent ingame some of them:

 

"SAME thing happened to me. I spent $20 on GTA cash (about 1,250,000).

Bought an infernus (440k), bought a 400k apartment, ammunition, and a feltzer. After all my purchases I was left with around 150,000. Then I ended my session because somehow there were no players in the game. When I rejoined, I was left with 150,000. No house, No cars.

Contacted Rockstar an hour ago, no reply."

 

His problem is that the servers didn`t save his stuff, not that Rockstar has stolen his lunch money. So, his "lawsuit" will come to a very abrupt end when Rockstar will show proof that he received the product he paid for. FYI, Rockstar is not responsible for anything else.

No one should be blaming a person for spending money on an AVAILABLE, ADVERTISED service and a bug DESTROYING the purchase entirely. Please limit your defenses of Rockstar to REASONABLE cases.

They know of the issue and had me take pics of my purchase history.

Yeah, it wasn't a smart move to go ahead and actually start playing GTAO seriously yet. Id give it at least a week before you start investing real money into the game.

 

It's just common sense, like literally the most sense your brain could ever devise. Just basic pure unfiltered knowledge.

If you feel you have a case, how about you take it to court? You have a chance to make millions and early retire... [edit] big companies like to settle and offer money rather than risk a long lawsuit that will tarnish their image.
