Difference between Xbox 360 and PS3

I'm at work and haven't had a chance to play yet, but luckily I work in an office and can be online all day to read the forums and know what to expect when I get home.

 

I'm seeing a lot of negative posts about the opening day problems, which I completely expected. I don't care what game it is, in the forums there will always be more negative posts than positive ones. But when giving your reviews can you please put what system your playing on. B/c i'm seeing some people saying its working as good as can be expected for opening day, but then i'm seeing alot of people saying its crap and can't do anything. I'm wondering if this is random or based more on one console or another. I've owned an XBox 360 and a PS3 for about 6 years and play alot of titles on both systems, but i've always seemed to have a sh*t load more problems on PS3 with lag and server issues. Even graphical problems in a lot of cases.

Also has anyone heard of any differences once actually playing the game between the 2 consoles. B/c I did hear something was different in the character creation.
