Same here. I keep doing solo thinking it will help. I feel I getting further each time.

I don't understand why solo doesn't even work. I have a feeling that most of the assets for the online portion of the game are processed server side and actually streamed from the servers, considering how small the patch was. (and how much pop in there is in the intro cut scene.) I really hate cloud based gaming. If I'm right, it's not surprising that the online launch has been so problematic.

Then your online is even more broken than mine. At least mine has the race trigger. It just fails to start the race....

 

 

and now the cloud servers are down again.

 

I guess I can't complain though. Considering the nature of this game, cloud based gaming is probably the best way to handle it, in theory. I guess I'll just have to give up trying today, I've got to study for an exam I have tonight, and then have to be in work at 6 A.M. tomorrow, so I doubt I'll actually get to play today.

Same I go on iy play the cutscene then it says failed to start the job then something about the cloud and kicks me off

No race trigger for me either! So pissed, wanted to play online so badly..
