Freezing issue solved on older Xbox360

I had the exact same problems as everyone else with freezing at random times during Franklins first mission. The first disc is installed on the hard drive and the second disc is not installed.

 

After hours of frustration, I finally figured out that if I put the Xbox360 in an upright position and place a small fan on the top vent (sucking air away from the Xbox) I could keep playing without the Xbox locking up.

 

So, in conclusion, this game must push the internals to the absolute limit and adding some additional cooling keeps the Xbox within tolerance to prevent freeze ups.
