No Race Trigger Fix

Create a new character, and after lamar picks you up, you should see a blue marker that the character automatically walks into, has nothing to do with the stop light. I havent got passed that cause after he walks into the blue marker it says searching for characters then crashes...

So the race should be triggered automatically after the intro cutscene, and you shouldn't be able to walk around at that part?

when my avatar automatically walks into the marker it gives me an error, ive tried like 4 times in 20-40mins of space in between..f*ckit just wait it out and see what will happen

As ssoon as i leave the car it lets me free roam but its obviously bugged as i cant actually do anything

Creating a new character does not fix the problem.

 

First time I tried, got an error message when my character walked into the trigger, since then the trigger doesn't show up.

 

Just have to wait it out I'm guessing.

Had the problem this morning. Just tried again a few minutes ago, saw the trigger but just standing here again.
