Question about "temporary" characters.

So I created my online character, started the race, got stuck on "launching session" like everyone else, so I turned the game off. The cloud servers were unavailable, but they gave me the option to create a temporary character and continue without saving. They said that character wouldn't overwrite any previous ones.

Anyway, back in single player, when I press down on the D-Pad, it shows my temporary character, and when I go to the "online" tab in the start menu and click "select character" the only one available is my "temporary" one.

So when will my first character come back? When the fix the servers? And when will my temporary character be erased? When I restart the game?

Surely someone has had the same issue and knows what will happen?

I'm pretty sure it will come back when the servers are fixed. It's just a temporary placeholder character to get you in the game if the servers are botched. Don't worry I feel your pain man

Same thing happened to me! i lost my appearance, money, clothes and bullets....i hope this gets fixed soon and most importantly they just gave me that character over mine I hope i can recover my own because it took me so much to make it haha anyway let's all hope this gets fixed soon enough so we can continue playing
