I really don't understand how they could have not prepared better for this... They sold over $1,000,000,000 worth of games in the first 3 days... that's around 17,000,000 people. Around 90% of them were looking forward to online. So there is no reason the online shouldn't have at least been working to some extent.

I have yet to even see if the graphics are good online as they are in story mode because every time I make my character and attempt to enter Online, it just tells me "Failed to Host" bullsh*t.

 

If Rockstar was going to be this unprepared, why didn't they just release online the same day it came out.. pretty much the exact same thing would have happened either way.

the problem for me isn't finding a lobby

but that it saves the data (like when i level up)

if i go 'offline' and then back online i have to create a complete new character and start from scratch
