I tried a different controller, same thing. Re-started xbox and re-loaded the game, still doesn't work. I'm on the last heist mission too. It was working fine until the update. Scheintot887 Posted October 1, 2013 Share Posted October 1, 2013 (edited) This problem appears when you open the internet on your phone. Atleast this is the cause for me. When I reload the savegame then I can choose every character again. But when I open the ingame internet again it causes the same bug all the time. I tried to open a new game and then it disappeared but just for the new game save files, not for the old one. You could try to start an older mission in your mainmenu, after you finished it, it might be gone until your open your phone internet. I hope they will fix it so fast as possible. meanman25 Posted October 8, 2013 Share Posted October 8, 2013 I had this problem too. I managed to solve it last night on my PS3. The problem started after the first time I tried logging into GTA O. I was able to create an online profile, save and it failed to load an online session. From then on, I couldn't bring up the character wheel in single player. After reading several forums, this is how I solved my problem: steal a taxi, begin the taxi missions by pressing L3 (not sure what button on x360), take a few fares (for me it was 3-4 fares), eventually you'll get a phone call from Franklin or Lester. Go to where they ask you to go and you should be able to start the mission and use the character wheel again. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
