This new generation of Grand Theft Auto players is a pretty sad one. Although I am very frustrated that it won't work for me either you're just going to have to suck it up you whiny little c*nts. Hopefully rockstar fixes this tonight but I seriously doubt it.

I just read through this entire forum, And had to make an account. This sh*t is the reason I think our species should be f*cking gassed.

Second, How does everyone expect R* to miraculously fix the game in the very second it breaks.

 

A little about me,

 

I woke up at 7am this morning to play GTAV online. I've been looking forward to it for years. I took the day off from work 2 weeks ago the second I found out when the release will be. I've been trying to get online for hours. I've been waiting patiently.

 

YOU f*ckING 12 YEAR OLD fa**otS NEED TO STOP BASHING R*

 

They gave us a motherf*cking incredible game, with a huge map that's incredibly fun to explore. With a captivating addicting storyline, tons of cars and addictions, EVEN A f*ckING GODDAMN JUMBO JET.

 

This game is incredible. I am not a R* fanboy. I hated GTA4. But this is the best game I've ever played.

Rockstar said last night they are "Continuing to buy servers but the mass demand of the game is exceeding the available readiness for the servers"

THE TOLD US THIS WOULD HAPPEN. THEY ARE TRYING.

Stop acting like this is some giant conspiracy you f*cktards.

 

The last thing R* wants is for people to STOP PLAYING. If they're this greedy corporation who intentionally did this on purpose then they're goddamn idiots. Why would they turn down an oppurtunity to make money?

 

Servers are complicated.

I'll put it simply.

Imagine you need to drink a lot of your favorite douchebag energy drink.. Lets say "Rockstar" for this example.

 

You need to drink an entire cup of it every second. So You need more straws right? But the amount of straws you need surpass the size of your mouth. So You need to buy mouth extensions now right? But now your throat doesn't have the suction power necessary for the incredible goddamn liquid demand you suddenly have. So you need a new throat. And new lungs. And then the demand gets BIGGER so, while you're trying to biologically enhance your ability to adapt to this situation, THE DEMAND KEEPS GROWING.

 

YOU f*ckING TWATS NEED TO GIVE ROCKSTAR A CHANCE, STOP TRYING TO LOG IN, WAIT AN HOUR, THEN TRY AGAIN. STOP REPEATEDLY RAPING THE GODDAMN SERVER WITH YOUR GREEDY DICKS.

i, like you got up extra early for this, and also like you asked for the day off for it. but i say to you guys who are on here complaining about this, either go play a different game or do something else! ive been playing some ds to power through a game while ive been waiting. so just be patient, they are working on it.

I've decided to go back to playing my heavily modded Skyrim game on my PC until all this PMS and dust finally settles

Billion dollars in sales....known number of sales the first couple of weeks and this is what we stil get?...this BS....nice Rockstar....why not just launch the multiplayer on release day?

How on Earth would this make anything better? The entire reason multiplayer is broken is because they've been scrambling to make enough space for the amount of people trying to play at once, which is a problem because they didn't predict how many millions of people would be ready to play from day 1. If they launched on release date, the problems would likely be even worse and it would be missing a few weeks worth of extra work.

Problem was making that multiplayer race the first thing you have to do to play with your character. What good is a Solo mode if yoy can't use it when you don't want to be online or can't connect to a server?

This is my new favorite post in human history. The cloud servers are definitely up, and the Snapmatic camera is working for me again when it wasn't yesterday, so they are getting somewhere with the server issues.

This game is amazing. And so are all the games Rockstar makes... think about it guys...

 

Max Payne 1, GTA 3, Manhunt series.. Red Dead, Midnight Club, Vice City... all great games... but GTA V honestly feels like a classic (the single player alone). It feels like a modern day Vice City in terms of classicness.

 

Just give them time to smooth this out, guys. We can't get all aspergers on Rockstar when they mess up little things. Lets not forget how much effort this studio puts into their games... they wouldn't do this on purpose to us.

I creates my character this morning at 7am est made it to race and game froze. Later that day I had to create another character and it spawned me on the side of a mountain. Tonight i had to creat another. Hope it saved.

I definitely make it the furthest when I go into online without any existing characters. I delete the one I make after every fail. I also feel that there is prob an issue with players dropping out that f*cks everyone, so if you happen to make it to the point where we're all standing around like dummies, try to remain in the game.

 

Gonna try the delete cache next.

It sucks that whenever we all finally get to play that those who've been playing all day will be further ahead in rank than all of us. I wonder if they plan on resetting everyone's stats? Not that it really matters but you never know, I'm sure there's some hardcore kid out there who's got some pretty sweet stuff already.

Go all the way over to right and go into your console settings, then storage, then look for "system cache" and delete it. It worked for me when the single player kept freezing, haven't tried it for online yet.

Okay. I get off the plane, drive to this( in my opinion) stupid ass tutorial. and then I get out. a guy pulls up in a car, gets out and then, starts saying launching session. This is for the 360. Is anybody else having this problem? I understand that rock star doesn't have the servers and its launch day. but they sold over 15M copies in 15 days. I hope they can get this fixed really quick cause I Know I'm not the only one that's ansee to play online.

I was playing for awhile jumped into another mission did what it did during the race wait then out of nowhere my character had the face of a woman body of a man and big head phones and socks as shoes... had to restart my game now im waiting at the races with you guys

I agree. I am mad about this but like you said, Us fans and players and R* knew it was going to happen. I am waiting patently to see if something happens. I didnt go to school today lol. I pray rockstar can get it resolved soon enough, in the mean time I guess Ill just play the story again.

it doesn't remove any updates. If you look at its size, you'll see it's only like 200 kb. It's more or less like clearing out the RAM in your xbox. Sometimes it can fix certain issues.

How I got past the first race: I dashboarded and tried again every time it froze. After about 30 tries, on launch night at around 4am, it worked, and that was the last of my problems.

thought is give online gta v another try hoping the "blue ring" loading loop at the beginning of the game would be fixed.

 

loaded up the game about an hour ago this time selected "solo" as what some users suggested and it ..... did not work.

eventually the Xbox just locked up frozen had to unplug to reboot the machine.

 

Was going to drop a chunk of money into the micro transactions to help my char get started but now I'm glad I didn't.

 

Maybe 6 months from now will be playable but after seeing the launch I don't think its going to improve much.

 

but by that time it's ps4 & x1 games to spend time & money on ..... so maybe I'll just sell the game back to gamestop.

 

I bought the CE so at least I got a cool hat & tshirt out of it.

I spent all day trying to get it to work and I had all the same issues everyone else is having with xbox, but about 3 hours ago it magically let me pick the car I wanted to use. I didn't do any tricks, just kept signing in and out until it worked. Once i finished the race, which is pretty easy, it has you do an few other things before it sends you to a mission where you do death matches and other stuff. After I got to this point I quit and was able to come back in smoothly. Did some more missions. I know how frusterating it is. It seems like there is a bottleneck trying to get in but once you are in, everything works great. If I had any advise, once you get in and finish the race, you might want to do a few more missions, so that you aren't stuck again.
