GTA Online Technical Issues

Finally got past the tutorial missions on Friday. Fired up the game in Saturday and I find my character has been erased. Tried to start a 2nd character and couldn't start the race with Lamar.

 

Wasn't this sh*t supposed to be fixed?! I feel like we're peddling backwards here. Not going to waste anymore of my time with this bullsh*t for at least a couple weeks.

Yeah I opened NAT and potforwarding etc. Nothing helps. My region is India but my friend also lives here and his account is of US. He has none of these issues. I guess it has something to do with regions maybe..

I was in passive mode sitting in my car and another player shot at me killing me. When I respawned I was still in passive mode. There must be a bug.

Same here I created new char and playing and got cash from my previoys play... In my opinion, I will play and will see what happens... I will write here if something goes wrong

Can't seem to take of my mask..anyone else having this problem? I select no mask in the inventory and it does nothing.

I could never take my mask off (when I had my character...hes gone now what I used to do was switch to sun glasses instead.

I'm in the same position, im just waiting it out...ive heard of characters returning when they sync back with servers BUT you could wipe them out yourself if you create a new one...so maybe just eait for a while and keep trying to load it. im so pissed off, I was level 14, with garage, 2 modded cars and 60,000 in bank

Seems not fixed:(( Mine freezes after job again and controller is not working. Need to restart ps probably ty c.ckstar for that noob game

When i check social club my character looks normal but when i go on the game i look like a dyke with Beats. Im also lvl 1 and have no weapons besides default pistol. Xbox btw

I have had my level 25 character and 220k app and and progress wiped. I lost 1 character early on but was fine no glitch for the rest of the week. I didn't exploit but I dont think replaying a mission is an exploit like the sAme way I ranked up on red dead redemption quarry mission replay. I signed in to single player gta and enter online from the pause menu but I wanted to check if I was in a crew I have never signed in to rs social club whilst being online' so I joined another crew and refreshed it and it came up that I joined the new crew. I went on to my profile and my level 25 character still there but right before my eyes the character disappeared to rank 0 and no progress. My american dream achievement is still there from when I bought my 220k apartment. Could this be a social club crew issue with loss or are the severs just on Cloud 9. Cloud gaming sucks. I want a refund or my 669k back that I acquired through out my progress. Loved rockstar games but obviously we were the beta testers for this game.

Another problem that is really irritating is this:

 

Whenever I leave a lobby, it says timed out and X to continue, but nothing happens so I then have to log out and enter sp, log back and enter online.

just ceated another character as the couple ive lost before were only level 4 anyway,i always get timed out of the cypress flats lts but it does save my progress,not touching it now until i hear that people have stopped losing their progress

No it's not a bug.

That's how it is, a car is a weapon so you can kill and get killed.

It only works ON FOOT, as soon as you get out of the car passive activates again.

Level 11 had 60k 2 cars for the fourth time, Online save has gone yet my money is only showing as 31k wtf

 

Last 5 days have been fine no issues but one bug where I have been able to run underwater :-/

wtf? This is getting worse everyday. The last 2 days i've managed to play online about 20 minutes. Then i get kicked with no reason and after that timed out ,timed out, timed f*cking out!!

I played a solid 6 or 7 hours of GTA O earlier. Now cloud seems to be down and shows my char as deleted.

 

Sure it'll be bk though once cloud is up

goto inventory, select glasses or hat, will remove mask

and you character will be BALD!!!!!!

goto barber shop !!!!!

Ok here's a MAJOR update on my status. I was finally able to log on but after 15 minutes or so my guy just disappeared. So I waited for a couple of hours for him to come back, but nothing. So basically my guy is just gone after 15 minutes of learning how to play, and earning money and earning missions, Rockstar forced me to waste hours of my life just waiting around eating PF Changs and waiting for their STUPID game to load. I am DONE with this game. I will never see my character again and its not fair and it's all because Rockstar doesn;t know what the F they are doing.

I just spoke to a guy I know who is a computer technician about all the issues we are having on the server. I asked him if I would ever see the man again that I lost and he pretty much told me to F off. So now basically everyone is aware of these issues and R* is doing NOTHING about it. They keep shutting the internet off and forcing us to sit around and wait for them to turn it "back on". Well I for one am completely sick of this and R* better be compensating all of us with free $ and cars and maybe even a new game or 2. Because this is just plain ridiculous and I'm tired of just bending over and taking up the pooper from R* for almost a week straight.

i run a connection test on my ps3 and it said that my router may not support ip fragmentation and that this may be a problem in some games. What that means? Is that an issue?
