Hello.. if any one can help id really be thankfull. Ok I have gta5 on ps3. I have no more issues getting online... but now I'm alone.. can't find any other players unless Igo to jobs and even then no one accepts.. so how do I get into a world with other players?

I saw this post on my phone and ran to my computer because I could just could not resist....

 

If you want to get a point across, don't make the mistakes that this person made:

 

A) Don't type it all out in caps. You appear childish. (Wild guess... 14ish... 15ish??? And I'm not blasting on teenagers who care, because there are smart teenagers. But this one... wow )

B) If you aren't being childish and are trying to get your point across (while using all caps), please at least spell things correctly. I understand that some might not know the proper use of a semicolon or even a comma. But at least try!

C) If you do anything remotely like this poster has done, then never say "In my opinion..." because it does not matter! You ruined it straight from the get-go.

 

Believe it or not, "rosy", I am not trying to dig at you. But I think it is a shame that the uneducated spend their time playing games when they should clearly be studying up their English.

 

Again, if you took any offense, it was not my intent. But take this as... . . "constructive criticism".

 

Ok. Back to drinking!

so, im still stuck on the tutorial with the "loading" screen or "waiting for other players" screen. how long should i wait at this screen until i dashboard. for those who did get through, how long did it stay at that screen?

Having the same issue.

Only once did someone 'Accept' but even then he left whilst joining.

I can't progress any further because I can't play without anyone else...

Hi, for anyone that can relate to this issue. It seems since they had an update earlier this morning for the PS3. GTA5 online seems a bit more stable now. However, I'm still facing problems with my character that i have once created and keeps on getting deleted though the online cloud. I'm not too sure how many time i had to start all over but I really hope they fix this issue. :blink:

So I just tried to load the game again and it wouldn't even start. I ejected the disc and took a look at it and noticed that someone had licked the bottom of the disc. There were all these lick marks and stuff all over the disc. So I cleaned it off and now the game itself will load but I'm still not sure about the online stuff because I haven't tried it yet. Anyway it might be a good idea for EVERYONE to check their actual discs to see if someone licked it or maybe rubbed peanut butter on it or something, because it seems to me that may be a HUGE part of the problem

So i've been playing for all of 10 minutes, and all of a sudden when I'm driving, it goes to first person mode, looking out of the car like you would normally. Is this an option somewhere that I cant see because I'm an idiot, or is it a bug?

So.. there's no additional information for them to provide?

 

They make it sound like they've made no progress. And that the patch has fixed the issue... when that clearly isn't the case. kinda upsetting to spend 5 minutes writing a well thought-out ticket, and getting this unhelpful ctrl+c/ctrl+v response minutes later.

 

I understand they are undoubtedly under heavy-load right now, but giving out scripted responses seems so cold and .. almost irresponsible. Whatever. I guess I'll just stop complaining and wait. be the good little consumer R* wants me to be.

Okay just got home and I have to updaye to 1.02 and it freezes , now did I hear there was a 1.03 patch ? Now I cant play gta5 without that 1.02 patch great !!!

oh right lol. my bad. yea i heard ps is having troubles. thats why im kinda glad the xbox patch is taking a while cause microsoft always makes sure sh*t works before they put it out. well good luck man

Also made a seperate topic about this issue i am having, but i'll post it here in case people miss it.

Alright so as you guys know, 1.02 came out quite early today.

I downloaded and installed it no problemo most problems seemed to have been fixed.

played a good bunch of hours of GTA Online today.

Until later that evening, my PS3 would simply freeze up when the console first loads up the game.

However, this does not occur when i am logged OFF from PSN.

So when offline my game starts, and i can play the single player no problem.

I've tried to login to PSN while in the online menu, which instantly freezes up when successfuly logged in.

Are the PS3 Servers/cloud saving screwed at the moment, or is anyone else experiencing this odd problem i am having?

I'm so confused right now.

I love joining a party and getting timed out then all of a sudden I get brought to the The intro of gta online. Second character deleted, level 15 was the first and now level 17. sh*ts crazy..
