I've been defending this game for the past how many weeks, and R* as well. This is ridiculous though. This, is why they shouldn't have waited two weeks. Because it's obvious they couldn't handle it in that time frame either. If they would've released it on Day One, and gradually built on from there? It may have been ready to PLAY in those two weeks. Granted, we're most likely going to wait another two weeks before it even becomes stable now, which is just a bunch of sh*t. I like R*, but you can't tell people to hold their complaints. They paid for the game as much as you did. So did I. I can be let down by the fact their servers aren't even f*cking stable enough to get into the god damn first mission. I can complain about how much there is for a lack of customization in the main menu. Maybe there is more in the salons, so I'll hold back on that. But this is very unprofessional. Is it there first time with multiplayer? No. Of this degree? Yes. Do I think that's an excuse for waiting two weeks for them to even RELEASE it. Hell no.This is pratically a test. And people should be pissed off about it. Do I think it needs to start an uproar against R*? Definitely not. We still have the amazing single player to play. And yes, I realize "OH MY GOD, DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ON." My reply to that? "OH MY GOD, HOW THE f*ck IS THAT SURPRISE TO THEM?". They're a company that generates success. Each time GTA is announced, the hype surronding it is f*cking mind blowing. This game was going to be sucessful. I have no idea why they didn't think of prepping servers ahead of time. Also, like I said. The issue could've been solved a bit more if they released it on launch day, and while more players joined, gradually worked on the issues there. It could've resulted better. And I never said it would've been better if they released it right on launch day. However, I'm saying it could've been gradually fixed from there on out if they did. I'm not saying it would've been perfect right on launch. I'm saying, it would've been a bit more built up, so maybe at this point today, it would've been fixed a bit better. Anyway, I'll hope R* has a bit more updated when I get back from work. I was let down by the fact there was no midnight release, but it wasn't at R*. I get up now, and all I see is fanboyism and attacking the people who are let down. Yeah, I don't care how much you love R* and GTA. The amount of attacking that goes on when you dare have an opinion that is anything slightly negative towards R* or GTA is ridiculous. Sorry, I was impressed by the single player but there's no excuse for selling 18 million copies of the game and then saying you weren't prepared for this level of traffic at launch.
