  1. 1. Which desert(s) do you like the most?

    • The Grand Senora desert ( GTA V )
    • The New Austin desert ( RDR )
    • The desert of Mexico ( RDR )
  2. 2. Which forest do you like the most?

    • Paletto forest ( GTAV )
    • Tall Trees ( RDR )
  3. 3. In general, which game did more justice to the "out in the wilderness" feel?

I think RDR will end up winning this poll. In my opinion, it deserves to win. It was such a great map.

I'm not saying GTAV's is bad ( in fact, it's absolutely splendid ), it's just that IMHO, RDR did more justice to the "out in the wilderness" feel.

All RDR for me.. perhaps its because here you come with a over powered 4x4 ignoring roads, crashing through fences.. the desert does not feel that big.. same with the "forest".

Now do the same on a horse..

Also ( I might sound like a graphic whore here ), the textures were supersharp ( in comparison to V ) in RDR. RDR's countryside textures are better than V's.

However, the city in GTA V has glorious textures. I can see how a lot more effort went into the city, rather than the countryside ( in V ).

Yeah, I'm not sure what R* were thinking when they were designing the map. Surely, almost every OWG of theirs have had maps that actually make them feel larger ( either by limited draw distance or complicated road layout ). I was pretty sure that they'd apply that principle to GTA V, too. However, they didn't. They roided up the draw distance and gave straight routes to pretty much everywhere!

Grand Senora desert going to the top, I see. I love the desert in GTA V, but why do you prefer it? It feels a bit cluasterphobic with all the mountains ( and the lake ) around it. In RDR, the deserts felt like they would go on forever.

First of all: They are both splendid games; I loved both of them;

but: RDR has given me the real western feeling (I really love westerns xD) and made my cry at the end.

RDR deserves to win; but still: Both games are excellent and I think they both deserve 100/100 ;-)

Dude , GTA 5 doesn't even have bears or horse .Lol

I don't know about bears, but I have seen a horse.

Both countrysides do a great job for their respective periods. I can't choose.

I like the countrysides in GTA V more than those in RDR, but RDR's countryside feels "wild" compared to the developed countryside in GTA V.

It is I totally opposite in GTA V textures are better ,just look at desert rocks in RDR they looked flat in V they look way better,

RDR had more obiects on the map (small props)
