tire smoke?

why is there so few colours of tire smoke? not even a green or purple or pink? just green, yellow, blue, red and orange. with black and white.

 

same with weapon camos, only the black, army and lcpd.

 

and i know these dont unlock further into the game as ive already completed the story so why is there so few customization options?

Certain cars have different customization colors when it comes to tire smoke. I have no idea why.

also whats with the guns only having 3 camos each, ive heard people talking of different ones but they dont exist

To be honest, I think Rockstar had high hopes for the customization in this game, but had to limit it due to console limitations. Current consoles can only load so much memory at one time.

This is personally why I think certain customization options, for example the tire smoke, has so little options.

I could be wrong, though. I would also like to see more options, including tire smoke.

It depends. Maybe they already maxed out memory limits and anymore would cause issues. I'm honestly surprised at everything they already put in the game as is. Just as an example, even Volition, who made Saints Row 3, said they couldn't put those new weapons from the story DLC(Gangstas from Space) in the main game due to memory limitations. But like I said, I could be wrong. I see no other reasons for them leaving things like this out of the game.

Special/Collectors Editions have a few extra gun colors.

Things such as changing color of tire smoke or color of a gun is a simple code edit. It wouldn't cause anything. I don't know why

rockstar put so few colors.

It's not so much memory limitations but more of a choice of where to stop. You can make limitless customization options but you don't have unlimited developement time, so in the end stuff will have to get cut. And my guess is that there will be a lot more of it in the online portion of the game.
