serimos6 Posted October 1, 2013 Share Posted October 1, 2013 (edited) Look, times are tough right now, and I'm sure many of you are wondering what this government shut down means for you as a player in GTA (In North America). Well, if you didn't know, the United States Government funds literally every single game server that all game developers rely upon (Video Game Server Bill 15:03), and unfortunately, this shut down means that the government is going to stop running the servers for online gameplay. So sadly, There will be no more battlefield 3, GTA Online, or any other game that runs on multiplayer. Xbox Live will also be going offline as well as Playstation Network because Obama owns all of the servers that operate for the consoles as well. Lol jk we're fine, enjoy GTAO tomorrow!
