So, who wants to share their CE Goodies?

Just looking to see if someone would like to hook me up with the CE goodies in GTA Online when it releases. I assume someone using CE weapons (Desert Eagle or Bullpup shotgun) will drop them if they are killed, and they can then be picked up and kept by others. Also, I'd love it if someone would give me a Khamelion for my garage....since I couldn't get the CE in time. Anyone wanna hook me up? Especially since you probably have infinite Khamelions.

cars on the street yes, but Rockstar or some article mentioned something about locked doors on player cars as a possibility. There was also something said about your garage's in house mechanic refusing to work on stolen vehicles.

 

There has to be incentive to buy vehicles in online, otherwise that's a significant money sink wasted.

I'd believe the weapons part, but definitely not the cars. If you steal another players car, you just can't have insurance on it. So you lose it forever if it is destroyed or lost, from what I've heard.

 

So, even if the weapons don't work, I'd still like a donated Khamelion.

I'm sure stealing it could be done, but I don't think actually owning it is a thing. It makes sense sure, but at the same time it doesn't. Nobody would need to buy cars online if they could just steal the best car and store it.

You can steal another players cars, but a new addition to the multiplayer is that you car customize your can in los santos customs with a bomb that triggers when someone other then you tries to turn on your car, or a remote triggered bomb that you can trigger when ever you choose ( I assume trough the telephone or map )

 

However you will not be able to save or customize another players car, as it is essentially still theyrs.

 

As for weapons they stay with the characters even upon death.

I belive I saw some mention of being able to buy a ce upgrade in the reddit post where they first discovered the cash cards, I could be wrong though.

Because $100 is a crazy inflated price for a few DLC items which will most likely be released later for $5.00

It didn't come to mind it might be in a seperate tab like in singleplayer, but that actually makes alot of sense. The cheapest garage is about $30,000 and i only have about $10,000 at the moment so im getting there, i'll find out later and see.
