I didnt see any extra interiors other than the safe houses. I have a feeling they are going to add interiors with time as part of new missions and features. But right now its the same as GTA SP

 

You cant change your characters race or physical appearance after you make him/her, but you can have multiple GTAO characters that you play with. There are several slots and when you load up a slot that character will be your default GTAO character. You can change it by going to the online option in the pause menu

 

Facial hair seems to have more options much like the other customization features. The character models arent too pretty tbh though. They can look kind of lifeless and dead when comparing them to Franklin, Michael, and Trevor. But its not horrid

I dont know if you can buy actualy homes because there are quite a few properties you can purchase in LS alone and I only saw a few apartments that I could afford. I want to say you can buy homes, but Im really not sure tbh

 

Guns take a while to unlock. You will only have 3-4 guns available at around level 19-20. Pistol, Uzi, SMG, and Shotgun.

 

The walking animations of the MP character didnt really resemble any of the protagonists, but I dont remember it being that unique either

 

Honestly, I didnt write down all the character skills, but it seems all the SP one are there other than special ability. Strength Stamina, lung capacity, all get leveled up the same way as in SP. You can however use an ability similar to Trevors when you get a call from Brucie from IV about his shark testosterone for sale lol.

@Sideburn guru: There were hairstyles similar to yours, but not exact. But like I said haircuts get unlocked.

 

You dont start with a safe house, or a car,or a weapon. You have a couple of bucks but not much. I could tell you how the GTAO starts off but I want you guys to see it yourselves. Its not a spoiler or anything but thats something you guys are gonna wanna see for yourselves the first time

Armored trucks arent robbable for a while. You have to unlock that. Once you do they will pop up like they do in SP.

But it can be difficult to do a whole bunch because it seems like the police have some sort of memory of your past (recent) crimes. If you have 2 stars and lose the cops, then go rob a store, you might get 3 stars instead of two. And if you lose that and rob another store it will go to 4. I dont know exactly how it works, but its interesting for sure

ou have to have a minimum of 4(I think) hours of sleep, you can give the rest of the hours of the day to other activities like driving, hanging out, sports. I dont remember the exact elements but the affect your stats, as well as your look slightly.

 

I gave my character only 4 hours sleep and he ended up with rings under his eyes. I maxed out his time spent during crime activities and he became dodgier looking

Sort of sounds like enforced down-time, so that you do other things than just rob sh*t while you wait for the cops memory to fade.

Thanks, you've been a help. How are the missions? Are they well done and interesting? Obviously they won't be like singleplayer, but are they better then just generic go here kill this guy leave kinda thing?

This is great, so you just can't spam Rob all stores around but have to wait for things to cool down a bit

Keep in mind they lip sync with you so you're technically how they show any expression

I posted this thread in the Online section. Heres my guide to making some quick cash early on:

 

 

Ok, I have played GTA Online and Im going to give some tips for getting more cash early on in the game. It can be a grind like process but if you know what to do, you can get some serious dough.

 

1. Repeat Simeon Missions

 

You will get random jobs for Simeon that involve repo'ing vehicles. There is one that involves getting a 9F from the front of a hotel only about a mile from the shop. Missions have the options of difficulty, easy, standard, or hard. Hard gives you 1.5 RP so it cant hurt to do this on hard so you can also level up while you get cash. Its not really much more difficult than standard.

 

Drive to the hotel, get in the car and drive back to the shop as fast as you can. Security guards will chase after and shoot at you. You can kill them before you even get in the car but I find it easier to just drive away as the 9F loses them pretty quickly. After this mission you get RP and 1500(if my memory serves me correctly.) When the mission ends it will show a playlist of missions you can play next, or you can leave. At the bottom left you can replay the last mission and it will spawn you a block from the hotel. Lather, rinse, repeat, and you will have enough for a garage/apartment soon.

 

2. Robbing liquor stores.

 

Robbing convencience stores, which are now labeled on the map, is the quickest, but riskiest, way to get cash. You will get $1000-2000 per robbery but the cops are no joke online. Be sure to by a mask from the mask shop before doing a robbery. After you stick up the store, break line of site with the cops, take off the mask, and you will lose 1 star, except if you only have 1 star. Try to have a getaway plan for each store you go to. If you dont wait enough time between robbing stores you will get more stars. So 2 stars for the first robbery, 3 for the second, and so on. And always deposit after your robberies otherwise you could lose a big chunk of cash you earned dying at the next stick up.

 

3. Selling cars

 

This is a great feature that takes some know-how to fully take advantage of. LS customs will buy cars from you that you bring to their shop, at different prices depending on the vehicle. However you cant sell premium cars because they are "too hot." A premium car would be the 9F, carbinozzare, infernus, etc. High end vehicles. But there are a few vehicles that are just below the premium cut-off point that can give you a good chunk of change for selling them. The most notable car IMO is the Felon. Find this car and sell it to LS customs to get between 7800-9000 dollars. Try and keep it undamaged to get more cash for it.

 

After you sell a car to the custom shop you have to wait some time before they will buy another one from you. It seemed to be a full in-game-day, but Im not certain about this.

 

After you sell a car, go rob some stores, or do some missions until you can sell another one. Its a grinding process but this will be the best way to get cash early on.

 

There were no casinos or gambling available but its possible that you have to unlock them. But I wouldnt expect it. You can gamble on races and deathmatches though.

 

The license plates seem to work the same as SP, I assume you still need the app

 

In regard to facial expressions of your character. You can set his default expression: Happy, Angry, And a few other ones that all make his facial expressions change. He will keep that expression until its changed. Makes selfies a bit more fun

 

I didnt play ALOT of the missions to be honest. But they seem pretty good. I didnt see any SP worthy missions, but its very possible that I just didnt unlock them yet since I never got a planning room and what not. The missions I played seems alot like "Go here, steal this car, take it to x location" or "Go here kill these gang members, torch their cars, pickup the drugs, take it to x location" But the missions were fun, especially with friends.

 

Leveling up seems like it will be what you make of it. If you do nothing but freeroam or cause mayhem, then the only points toward leveling up you will get will be when you lose wanted levels, its not much. But if you play alot of missions and are active in the GTA Online universe, you will level up at a good pace.

 

You get level up faster when you do missions with other players, and even faster than that when they are in your crew. You cab also set the difficulty level of the missions before hand, and if you choose hard the RP rewarded will be 1.5x's the amoung

I forgot to add that you can also put ON a mask after breaking line of site with the cops to lose a mask. Pretty cool stuff

I'm asking questions because I'm debating playing online at all. I play on steam mostly and I only have Xbox sliver so I wanna know if this is worth getting Xbox gold to try.

Its natural to want to know what you are getting into. Not to mention there are alot of misconceptions about the online aspect of GTA V.

 

GTA Online Autosaves. There is no quick save icon on the phone, or saving at your safehouse, but that might not be final. You might be able to save it via the menu, but I just auto saved
