Midnight launch is the most probable!

With a launch around midnight like 1-3 am in US time. Most of the world are asleep.

 

This is the most probable time R* will release it? Why? because their server wont get spammed. If they release it in the morning after 8 am. Thats when people are getting up or in the afternoon in other timezones.

 

In essense for minimal server damage, they need to release it around midnight. At 1/2 am you have most people still sleeping.

 

Releasing it in the afternoon or morning or evening is quite counter productive.

 

Rockstar will release the online 1 AM. That I can guarantee it!

 

My friend works at R*. I told him and he said that's the closest guess he has heard so far. So I assume thats the exact time. But because of NDA he won't confirm it.

 

Get ready! 1 AM EST set your alarms!

I can bet though, that a lot of people won't be asleep at 1-3am tonight, as they'll be waiting for their GTAO fix. much like myself

No, while rockstar can bring their servers online for it at midnight(hell they may already be on) we won't have access to the servers until they update our games for them. Which is most likely when they update their(sony/Microsoft) marketplaces

Thats not true. You can't speak for the 20 million copies out there. aLot of people have lives unlike you. And jobs and family and responsibility and friends.

 

If it wasn't the case this forum won't have 50,000 members and 1,000 online at once. IT will have 20 million members and 2 million online at once.

 

I'm sorry alot of GTA V owners will be sleep and wont be staying up to see weather the online comes up at 1am or 10 am in the morning. they could care less.
