GTA Online MIGHT Crash tonight {Please Read}

I heard from a source that Rockstar said that since the sales of GTA V were so high, there might be a high volume of people on tonight which may cause a Server Crash.

Along side with that there might also be some bugs and glitches that may affect your gameplay or your 360/PS3

The reason I say your 360/PS3, is because Rockstar has noticed a specific bug in their software that MIGHT cause a system wipe of your hard drive. If this happens it all falls on Rockstar because they forgot to fix some bugs and glitches before GTA Online goes live.

I know you might think this is false information but it's entirely true. Rockstar has been working on this since the day they heard how many GTA 5 copies they sold. Now if you remember, they reached $1 Billion in sales within 3 days, if you do the math of how many GTA 5s that is (not including special editions of the Game [Collectors, Limited Edition]) it is quite a lot.

I just would like to warn all GTA 5 players that if you go onto GTA Online tonight, there MIGHT be a server crash that will cause the servers to go down till about 5AM EST or 12PM EST if it isn't fixed.

Also be careful what you are doing tonight and don't overload a server if you manage to get on, because I would, within my own concerns, hate for any of your hard drives to be wiped clean because of this bug that Rockstar has found.

I'm not telling you to avoid going on tonight, I'm just giving all players here on the forums a heads up.

bull sh*t

not from what I heard from rockstar. This is acually legit because I remember reading it from another site that Rockstar has found some bugs/glitches/crashes that may affect gameplay

I don't think rockstar would put this much bad rep on them selves... they would just delay the release date... to me this is a scare thread :p so all the kiddies can go to sleep.

assuming rockstar isn't stupid, which they clearly arent since they made gta5, they would have everything working smoothly for the potential million players trying to get online. but yeah, there might be server issues

Does anybody expect it not to crash though? I mean really?

If it launches tonight, I'll try to play it, but I don't even expect to be able to get on.

Ah you are talking about this. Yeah that's quite expected.

That's why i'm not even waiting for it.

Thanks for the Inquired Informations NewsTip. But I don't think R* are that fool enough to make everyone go Blank on a closet the first day of GTAV Online, Well anything may happen but for sure they do have an in-house Server-Rack tons of Servers + PSN Network Server + Xbox Network Servers to Power-up the Online Servers smoothly. Well about the Glitches, It's their's Development team's Problem not ours ofcourse! :D

There will be bugs/glitches, and it might crash occasionally for some, but your harddrives wont be wiped. They wouldn't release it yet if that was the case.

Not including CE editions and such when factoring how many copies are sold would only make it seem like more copies were sold than really were.
