What time do you think GTA:O will release for us all?

Vote in the poll above, all options are in GMT.

 

As each option is passed it will be deleted until Sony/Microsoft release it or Rockstar announces the release time.

R* runs Online servers. I'm not in the mood for explainations so maybe this graph will help you.

Servers are already open. We just don't have access to them (guess why).

world time works of Greenwich laboratories clock which I the worlds most accurate clock, in the uk right now though we us BST time which is GMT-1 hour :)

ok if you think it's coming out on the 2nd, wrong.....GTA Online comes out the 1st (if not sooner)...but I heard from a friend that Australia might not get it till the 2nd

Hmm how that lack of education working for you? GMT is the standard by which all other timezones are measured.

 

Besides It's like us peeps in the UK will access it before the yanks.

If it would be 12 o clock anywhere, it would be GMT which is UK time.

 

Not only because GMT is the standard time of the world, but also because Rockstar is based in the UK.

Then in that case, in 10 minutes, GTA online will be available... which is complete bullsh*t

Seeing as how the servers are in Scotland what would be the point in looking at EST?

 

Their worldwide HQ is at NYC, which uses EST. Oh hey, they just announced it will be released 7AM EST.

I just wanna know is it active yet im sitting at work checking these threads each break, going mad ;) some saying yaaaay its out then others saying no its not. Not that i can play tonight but i wanna know. Could someone give a reliable answer?? Im in UK if it makes a diffrence

The world does not work off GMT, its just the middle so you count back and forward from it. (which is a relic from the british empire, Antwerp, Paris etc. also claimed the 0 line at some point before Greenwich) But its also one of the smallest time zones. Some african nations, the UK and Portugal. Not very significant in population either.
