Just a question about the patch

If we're playing GTA V when the patch is released will we have to keep checking here to know when it out and have to quit the game to download the patch or will we be notified while in-game?

 

Talking about PS3 here, haven't really had much experience with how Sony does their patches.

If that patch is a game update (We dont really know the details).

 

Then I assume you will have to turn your game off and on again, that is unless they have some sort of popup message coded in-game or something.

 

Im just basing this off other games i have, where the game update does not pop up in the middle of a gaming session, but next time i boot the game.
